Q&A on the Empowerment of Zashi Lhamo

On March 25, 2026, the Root Lineage Guru, His Holiness Living Buddha Liansheng, provided answers to the following questions:

Q1: If one has previously received the empowerment for the Zashi Lhamo Practice or the mantra recitation “Om, ma-mo, na-mo, tong-tong, zha-zha so-ha,” may one recite the newly transmitted mantra of Zashi Lhamo Secret Practice for Sudden Wealth (Great Blessing Vajra Mantra + Zashi Lhamo Heart Mantra: Om, gu-ru, lian-sheng, sid-dhi, hum, om, ma-mo, na-mo, tong-tong, zha-zha, so-ha)?
A1: One must request an additional remote empowerment for the Mantra of Zashi Lhamo Secret Practice for Sudden Wealth.

Q2: If one has already received the empowerment for the Zashi Lhamo Practice, may one directly practice the Zashi Lhamo Secret Practice for Sudden Wealth?
A2: One must request an additional empowerment for the Zashi Lhamo Secret Practice for Sudden Wealth.

Note: Regarding the Zashi Lhamo Practice and the Zashi Lhamo Secret Practice for Sudden Wealth, by the compassionate instruction of His Holiness Living Buddha Liansheng, both practices allow practitioners to request remote empowerment by correspondence. However, it is preferable to receive the empowerment in person from His Holiness.
