On Apr. 11, 2015, Root Lineage Guru H.H. Grand Master Living Buddha Sheng-yen Lu announced during the Mahamayuri Homa Ceremony that, per a bodhisattva's recommendation, he will promote and bestow Acharya Empowerment to Reverend Lianxing, who is in charge of Tsoying Chapter in Taiwan.
