The day prior to the core committee meeting, seven departmental supervisors, Grand Madam (師母) and the head of Sheng-Yen Lu Charity Fund Foundation, Dr. Foqing Lu Esq. (佛青師姐) had come together to participate in a conference regarding issues of a scholarship funding project sponsored jointly by True Buddha Foundation and Sheng-Yen Lu Charity Fund Foundation. The conference had made a significant headway and the result of which will be disclosed on a selected date.

The seven departmental supervisors were Acharya Masters: Der-Huey, Lian-Ning, Lian-Sheng, Lian-Yin, Lian-Wang, Lian-Tsai and Lian-Jie (七位處長蓮花德輝上師、蓮寧上師、蓮僧上師、蓮印上師、蓮旺上師、蓮栽上師及蓮潔上師). The core committee meeting was administered by Acharya Master Lian-Ning (蓮寧上師) discussing all issues relevant to TBF operations.
The meeting surveyed the record of a meeting as of November 2009 and the TBF operational memorandums as of November 2009, December 2009 and January 2010. After the crucial points had been highlighted, each departmental supervisor presented his or her work progress report which in turn was incorporated in the topics of discussion.

Year 2010 Fellowship Conference of Acharya Masters and True Buddha Foundation meeting had already called upon relevant Acharya Masters to participate via postal invitation notices.

As of March 1st, 2010, Acharya Masters` Fellowship Conference shall reference proposals concerning: (1) Application for True Buddha chapters in Macau and Hong Kong under the sovereignty of P.R. China (2) Application for voluntary discharge of duty as a Acharya Master, (3) Reports and discussions presented by special teams under True Buddha Foundation, they are:
1. The team dedicated to propagation of Grand Master`s literary works and books.
2. The team dedicated to caring for the elderly, the team dedicated to the terminally ill and dying people and the team dedicated to burial and cremation for the deceased.
3. The committee dedicated to caring for the dying True Buddha missionaries.

(3) As of March 2nd , 2010, True Buddha Foundation Board of Committee Meeting of the 5th Session of the 3rd Term shall reference proposals concerning:
1. Application for True Buddha School chapters in Macao and Hong Kong under the sovereignty of P. R. China
2. Selective process and guidelines for selection of Dharma Professors and Dharma Lecturers
3. Fund raising and remittance issues related to worldwide disaster relief efforts on the part of Lotus Light Charity Society
4. Fiscal and accounting reports
5. Application for a locale where spiritual consultation is to be held
6. Last-minute changes to decisions and proposals on a moment`s notice

True Buddha Foundation will be holding a ceremony called ”Donation to the cause of disaster relief efforts of Taiwan`s August-8th Flood Disaster”「賑濟台灣八八水災」on February 27th, 2010 during the Dharma Assembly with Homa Ceremony dedicated to the Luminous King of Peacock Deity (孔雀明王護摩大法會). At this ceremony, the charity proceeds True Buddha Foundation has collected thus far for relief of Taiwan`s August-8th Flood Disaster, will be entrusted to two individuals who are charged with the responsibility of securing and handling charity proceeds, they are: the Chairman of World Lotus Light Charity Society, Acharya Master Tsang-Ren (常仁上師) and the Director of Chinese True Buddha School`s Lotus Light Charity Society, Brother Guan-Der Wu (吳冠德大德). Both of them will be present at the ceremony to receive the charity fund.

Several prospective to-be-chapters are applying for official endorsement and entitlement by True Buddha Foundation. Thus far these to-be-chapters have passed the first stage of assessment and are still pending documentation required for second and third stage of assessment: Sumeru Chapter of Indonesia (印尼須彌同修會) , Ji-Bao Chapter of Malaysia (集寶同修會), Yafander Chapter of Malaysia (馬來西亞梵德同修會), Hua-Der Chapter (華德同修會), Bao-Deng Chapter (寶燈同修會), Hua-Tsang Chapter (華藏同修會), Jien-Chiao Chapter of England (英國劍橋同修會) and David Chapter of Panama (David同修道場). Once the second and third stage of assessment have been passed, then they are sanctioned as official chapters.

The status of Assistant Dharma Professor, Lian-Hua Yu-Ting (蓮花玉婷助教) of Indonesia`s Ji-Bao Chapter, has been reinstated by TBF.

The following fellow devotees have been approved the application to take ordination in monkhood: Shiuwen-Si Hong (洪璿晰) of Gua-San True Buddha Temple (卦山雷藏寺), Ji-Yien Chan (陳季鷰) and Li-Ting Huang (黃莉婷) of Yamantaka Buddhism Institute in Taiwan (台灣威德佛學院).

Application by White-Cloud True Buddha Temple (白雲雷藏寺) of Edmonton, Canada to raise capital needed to expand the temple has been approved.

The Plan to Freely Distribute Grand Master`s Concise, Pocket-Size Books on Good Karmic Terms 「師尊文集精華版口袋書結緣贈送計劃」as effectuated by the TBF`s team dedicated to propagate Grand Master`s books, has already completed printing the eight individual titles categorized out of the forty-thousand concise pocket-size books. Now the book are being packaged and shipped. TBF is thanking sincerely all the fellow devotees from all over the world , who have proceeded from their heart to lend support in the cause of funding and printing Grand Master`s books, thereby reaching out to even more sentient beings with the teachings of Grand Master.

After the conference ended, all the departmental supervisors had joint Attorney Huey-Fang Zhou Esq. (周慧芳律師) in a discussion about issues related to intellectual property rights on the web (網路智慧財產權), about proxy management of information on the internet and about proxy rights granted to handle Grand Master`s literary works and books. In the midst of all these busy activities, Grand Master (聖尊) had come along to encourage and console the participants and had a picture taken with everybody at the meeting.
