Ling Shen Ching Tze Temple Will Construct an Old Man Under the Moon Shrine and a Second Ksitigarbha Hall

In a recent conversation, Grandmaster mentioned that the founding temple, Ling Shen Ching Tze Temple (LSCTT), could enshrine the Old Man of the Moon (or the Old Man Under the Moon, Yue Lao), allowing faithful men and women to come and seek a suitable spouse from the deity. Later, the board of LSCTT consulted with Grandmaster regarding the shrine location.

On Thursday, May 9th after dinner, to identify an auspicious location for establishing the Old Man Under the Moon Shrine, Grandmaster walked to the dragon side of the temple and stopped at a certain point. Grandmaster then asked for divine guidance to locate an ideal spot for the Yue Lao shrine. In response, the buddhas and bodhisattvas indicated that the very spot where Grandmaster was standing was just perfect. Everyone was astounded to see buddha’s miraculous power manifest through Grandmaster! As the current Ksitigarbha Hall is overflowing with ancestral tablets, Grandmaster also surveyed the surrounding area to identify a location with auspicious feng shui for building a second Ksitigarbha Hall.

Following the geomancy expedition, Grandmaster returned to the entrance of the True Buddha Tantric Quarter. While chatting with everyone, he suddenly asked, “Where is the moon?” Everyone looked up into the night sky and noticed that a bright crescent moon was hanging directly above the spot Grandmaster had identified for the Yue Lao shrine. The crowd gasped in wonder at this amazing spiritual response. “It truly is the Old Man of the Moon!” Grandmaster exclaimed and encouraged everyone looking for a marriage to visit the Yue Lao shrine and pray for a red thread to help them obtain a good marriage.

Based on Grandmaster’s guidance, the LSCTT Board of Directors will initiate planning for a Yue Lao shrine and a second Ksitigarbha Hall. Disciples and devotees from all walks of life are cordially invited to contribute to the construction costs. The merit will be infinite! We also pray that LSCTT will prosper and that the True Buddha Tantric Dharma will spread to all beings everywhere!
