Dharma King Lian-sheng Reveals Great Secret: Chanting the Title of the High King Avalokitesvara Sutra ''Namo-gao-wang-guan-shi-yin-jing'' with Reverence Will Purify One's Body

Rainbow Temple in Seattle, USA, reverently invited contemporary Dharma King Root Guru Living Buddha Lian-sheng to preside over a High King Avalokitesvara Homa Ceremony on the afternoon of July 29, 2018, with crowds of honored guests and disciples in attendance.

Faith in High King Avalokitesvara and the propagation of the High King Avalokitesvara Sutra began in the Wei, Jin, North-South Dynasties; became popular in the Tang and Song Dynasties, and was highly revered in the Xixia Dynasty when every single person in the country learned the High King Sutra by heart. The Dharma King has previously revealed that he himself had been the reincarnation of the third emperor of Xixia. Owing to this link between the Dharma King and Xixia (Great White High Country), High King Sutra has become one of the two main sutras in TBS. Xixia has been called a secret kingdom as it finally vanished from history after 300 years due to its constant and strenuous battle with the Yuan Empire. Xixia was eventually captured in the Heihe River basin. In the last two decades, many experts and researchers have been trying to restore the ancient features of Xixia through the recovered antiquities and various geographic features. A historical account, one that has puzzled researchers and historians, and remains a mystery even today, is the story of Genghis Khan, his ability to command his military forces to successfully conquer vast European-Asian territories, yet he was unable to conquer Xixia, even after more than ten attempts. Dharma King has revealed the answer to the mystery: the whole country of Xixia was under the guard of High King Avalokitesvara.

Living Buddha Lian-sheng has been praising the eminence of High King Avalokitesvara in his teaching and the efficacy of the High King Sutra with countless miracles. For example, relics have been found after the cremation of a prisoner on death row in Singapore and among many other TBS disciples who had been constantly chanting High King Sutra. Living Buddha Lian-sheng said, ''My whole life has been under the guard of High King Avalokitesvara, and High King Avalokitesvara Sutra is a sutra with extreme efficacy. This deity of High King Avalokitesvara is one of the Avalokitesvara deities that I respect most. I Hope everyone recites it. It's very simple; short but powerful.''

In addition, Grand Master said that High King Avalokitesvara had instructed that as long as one chants the title of its sutra six times in the morning, one can have one's head, neck, upper body, lower body, thighs and legs all purified (visualize respective portion transforming into white color as chanting the sutra title each time.) Grant Master will reveal this method in his future book.

Grand Master continued with the teaching of Lamdre, about the cultivation of the ''pestle chakra'' located four-fingers-width below one's navel where the three channels, central, right and left channels merge. If one wants to fill the central channel with qi from the right and left channels, one needs to use all sorts of skills such as pressing, pushing, striking, rubbing and tightening the waist to make it happen. Once the qi enters the central channel, it will transform the tiny little light into inner fire. The Dharma King has urged for attention to this part －－ if one wants to ignite the inner fire, one must use rhythm breathing, ''Accumulate qi through Treasure Vase Practice, then use skills of pushing, pressing, rubbing and body-twisting to enable qi to enter the central channel. If qi is able to enter the central channel, it will generate warmth and bliss; the sensation of bliss will arise.'' Dharma King also instructed that the waist-twisting skill in Vajra Fist can also help ignite the inner fire. One keeps the upper body still while twisting the waist with the hands on the waist in sitting position. One hand presses from the front, the other hand presses from the back, then one twists to left and to right. This will help qi enter the central channel from the right and left channels.

''The most effective way of practicing breathing is to keep one's lower abdomen contracted.'' Dharma King has advised that the lower abdomen should not be expanded when one breathes in. Instead, it should be contracted. What XX said about her big tummy resulting from practicing qi is not correct. Again, the Dharma King has urged caution for XX's used items that one purchased through auctions, her items such as beds and offering tables, as they all infected with the qi of ghosts. ''Buddhas are with us, therefore what come out are all buddhas, whereas ghosts are with her, and what come out from her belongings are all ghosts.''

After the marvelous Dharma discourse, His Holiness compassionately bestowed upon the attendants the extraordinary empowerment for the High King Avalokitesvara Uncommon Practice (including refuge empowerment). The ceremony was concluded perfectly and auspiciously.
