The beautiful weather in Seattle is a given. Even on such a bright and sunny summer day, one can still feel the gentle cool breeze every now and then. Lately it is common practice for Grandmaster to take a stroll after each meal to LSCTT to make prostrations to all the buddhas and deities.

During the day, Grandmaster mentioned: The statue of the Golden Mother in the main temple is the most dignified, solemn, and powerful of all. However, this statue is no longer in production. Also, the power of the Acala in the temple is infinite! Nowadays, the Acala is purifying, blessing, and protecting Grandmaster's house daily. He has chased away all the troublesome ghosts and demons that were in Grandmaster's house. In the past, Grandmaster always thought that his dharma protector was Yamantaka. But it turned out that Acala is also Grandmaster's protector!

In addition, today, Grandmaster brought out the box of ''large sacred black pills'' from Sakya Monastery, a lineage token that was bestowed on him. The sacred black pills will be auctioned off during a fundraising charity event organized by the Sheng-yen Lu Foundation at the forthcoming Grand Autumn Ceremony in Seattle. Inside the box one can see one big and two small large sacred black pills, along with their dosage instructions in Chinese, English, and Tibetan translation. These large sacred black pills not only carry the supreme blessing power of the lineage masters, but also contain the sariras of Buddha and highly accomplished monks, and a variety of precious medicinal herbs. For each dosage, one only needs to consume two percent of each pill with lukewarm water. Taking this dosage regularly strengthens one's body, postpones aging, and promotes longevity. The sacred pills can be used to treat common illness. In particular, they can effectively cure various chronic diseases. Rarely does one see such precious and sacred lineage treasure. Everyone is urged to not miss this golden opportunity of a lifetime to generate bodhicitta and perform a good deed while receiving a precious treasure in return.

Apart from the Foundation's charity event, with Grandmaster's compassion and blessings, the founding temple has also specially set up the category of ''Primary Supplicants'' for the first time for the Grand Autumn Ceremony. With a donation of USD 888, ceremony primary supplicants will be presented with a specially made, fine and delicate khata, a precious gift blessed by Grandmaster and a reserved seat for one at the Autumn Ceremony. We hope that everyone will actively participate and support the annual Grand Ceremony and dharma propagation organized by the Seattle LSCTT that is personally presided over by His Holiness.

We believe that disciples worldwide will rejoice at seeing Grandmaster once again ascending the dharma throne to expound the dharma teachings. As the very first homa held in Seattle this year was for Vajrapani Bodhisattva, we are grateful that, with the compassionate descent of the Three Protectors, he bestowed on Rainbow Temple the most extraordinary and memorable ceremony ever held. We hope that with the blessings bestowed by the Buddha and bodhisattvas, Grandmaster will most certainly be blessed with good health, longevity, and good fortune, and be free from calamity! And above all, that he will always enjoy self-mastery and a happy life.
