Worldwide True Buddha Disciples Recite the Amitayus Heart Mantra
The True Buddha Foundation is leading all True Buddha disciples worldwide in jointly reciting the Amitayus Heart Mantra, dedicating the merit to the Lineage Root Guru, beseeching Guru Buddha to stay in this world, praying for his health, well-being, longevity, non-hindrance, and continuous turning of the Dharma Wheel.
His Holiness Living Buddha Liansheng has taught, “What is the greatest field of blessings for a practitioner?
The greatest field of blessings is praying for Buddha to remain in the world and turn the Dharma Wheel forever.
It is only because Buddha remains in the world and continuously turns the Dharma Wheel that Buddhadharma exists in the saha world.
Because Buddhadharma benefits both humans and celestial beings, the merit and blessings of praying for Buddha to remain in the world and turn the Dharma Wheel are supreme.”
The True Buddha Foundation is now initiating the following global event:
All merit is wholeheartedly dedicated to the Lineage Root Guru, His Holiness Living Buddha Liansheng: may all obstacles to the Root Guru’s lifespan be eliminated; may he be healthy, unhindered, have long life, continuously turn the Dharma Wheel, and widely liberate sentient beings.
Together, let us fulfill our aspiration of praying for Guru Buddha to stay in this world.
The Amitayus Heart Mantra: “Om。ah-ma-re-ni。zu- wen-di-ye。so-ha。”
His Holiness has repeatedly reminded disciples that his lifespan will not be long. This is not to say that he will immediately manifest impermanence, but rather to remind disciples time and again that the lifespan of an accomplished saint is omnipresent and unhindered. Yet why do we sincerely wish for our Root Guru to remain in this suffering saha world to tirelessly turn the Dharma Wheel and save beings?
His Holiness has explained that his teachings and turning of the Dharma Wheel in this lifetime are intended to awaken disciples and kindle the lamp of their hearts. We must make every True Buddha cultivation venue a radiant pure realm of the genuine dual practice of compassion and wisdom, transforming this saha world into a human pure land of peace and love.
Let us join together to recite the Amitayus Heart Mantra, single-mindedly praying for Buddha to remain in the world and turn the Dharma Wheel this moment and forevermore.
