Vast is the Buddha’s grace, like a father’s compassionate heart
By words and example, you awaken my wisdom-life
Your deep and boundless vow, all-embracing like the sea
Your mercy and mindful care guides me back to the Truth
Your Dharma body, ever brilliant, warms my heart
Dispelling ignorance like a lamp, like a torch
Your fatherly love and kindness will endure forever
