1,000 years ago, a Buddhist saint, Ven. Atisha, made an overseas journey to Sumatra, Indonesia. To commemorate Atisha's journey, further understand his Buddhist teachings, and ''supplicate Buddha to stay in the world to forever turn the dharma wheel benefiting ten directions,'' the True Buddha Foundation, and the True Buddha School Vajrayana Buddhist Council Indonesia, and the True Buddha School Vajrayana Association of Indonesia will co-host an event to ''find the root of 1000 years, supplicate buddha to stay in the world - bodhicitta in aspiration.'' The event will be held on Aug. 4, 2018, at Muaro Jambi Temple Compound.
