On April 2, 2023, during group practice at Rainbow Temple in Seattle, TBS Lineage Root Guru Living Buddha Lian-sheng revealed that he has been suffering from an illness for the last three weeks. This illness is a cause of great concern to all TBS disciples. Despite his illness, Guru Buddha continues writing and saving sentient beings daily. In addition, he blesses disciples and gives spiritual consultation every day. During the weekend, he holds group cultivation, presides over homa ceremonies, and discourses Buddhadharma without a single day of rest!

True Buddha disciples constantly supplicate the Guru Buddha to stay in the world, and pray for his health, well-being, eradication of illness without any suffering, and being unhindered while living in the world. This is the love of all TBS disciples for Grandmaster. Therefore, we should wholeheartedly transform our love for Grandmaster into heartfelt prayers and mantras that will resonate throughout the world for 24 hours, and sincerely dedicate the merit to Grandmaster.

The True Buddha Foundation (TBF) calls on all TBS disciples to single-mindedly chant the Ushnishavijaya Mantra, and encourages TBS cultivation venues and Dharma propagation personnel to actively lead fellow disciples in reciting the mantra during group cultivation. We hope all cultivation venues will spread this message through social media group chats and Facebook, so that all TBS disciples will chant the Ushnishavijaya Mantra and dedicate the merit to Grandmaster.

Let the Ushnishavijaya Mantra Resound Throughout the World for 24 Hours
Starting from 8:00 PM on April 7th, Taiwan time, and lasting until 8:00 PM on April 8th, TBF will hold a 24-hour Ushnishavijaya Mantra chanting and light offering prayer session, bringing together cultivation venues and disciples worldwide. Through this event, the sound of the Ushnishavijaya Mantra and the love of disciples will encircle the world, continuously protecting Lineage Root Guru HH Living Buddha Lian-sheng, and supplicating Ushnishavijaya of the Three Longevity Deities to bless Guru Buddha, eradicate his sickness, bring well-being to his body and mind, and maintain his health.

Our collective mind power brings the greatest strength. Let’s turn the Dharma wheel of the Ushnishavijaya Mantra with our love and fill the world with the light of mantra shining on the compassionate Buddha Father.
