On September 9, 2009, at True Buddha Tantric Quarter, U.S.A., Grand Master, the Living Buddha Lian Sheng had personally bestowed Vajra Acharya Empowerment upon three disciples: Shi Lian-Zhan, Shi, Shi Lian-Lai and Shi Lian-Fu .

The three Buddha-disciples, upon entering the Tantric Quarter, prostrated themselves fully to pay homage to the Lineage Root Guru and to the Triple Jewels in the Mandala Shrine. Grand Master then invoked the Buddhas of Five Directions and all heavenly Bodhisattvas, deities, dakinis, and Dharma Protectors using a Dharma bell and damaru (ritual drum). Next, Grand Master ministered empowerment of the Vajra scepter, Vajra bell, Vajra vase, Vajra sarirah(sacred relics) and the Five-Buddha Jewel Crown on the three disciples.

After the empowerment, Grand Master conferred Vajra Acharya certificates upon them and swore them to take the vow: ”Enlightening the mind and realize the Buddha-nature is immanent in all beings; take full control of my own birth and death; call forth the Boddhicitta Mind; propagate the Dharma to redeem all sentient beings and never retrogress in my endeavor.”

After the vow was taken, the three newly ordained Vajra Acharya Masters took turn to submit an offering and a Kata(silk scarf) to Grand Master. In return, Grand Master, with compassion, handed down a Dragon Vest of different color to each of the three new Acharya Masters according to the color of their intrinsic Padmakumara within.

Finally, Grand Master had a picture taken together with the three newly ordained Acharya Masters, and all were hence auspicious and satisfactory!
