Dharma King Living Buddha Lian-sheng transmits the Lunar New Year Wealth God Welcoming Method.
In the Year of Yisi 2025, welcome the wealth god to your home.
The direction of the wealth god for the Year of Yisi is East.

The snake symbolizes abundance and the creation of life, as well as representing protection and defense.
The flute and xiao symbolize attracting valuable people and good luck from all directions.
The auspicious knot represents longevity, and the seven wealth god pearls signify increasing wealth.

1. Mascot Preparation:
   ◎Place a red flute, a red xiao, an auspicious knot, and seven red crystal balls in a red treasure bowl. The number seven represents completeness. With the the seed syllable 「」''Jum,'' engraved on their surface, the crystal balls carry the blessings of the wealth deity.
   
2. Time period to invite the wealth deity (Lunar Calendar):
   Choose one of the following days and times to perform the practice:
   2nd day of the first lunar month: Thu., Jan. 30, 2025, 7:00-9:00AM
   16th day of the first lunar month: Mon., Feb. 13, 2025, 7:00-9:00AM. Or, alternatively, on the next Man (滿) day. It is best to complete the ritual in the first lunar month.
   
3. Performing the Practice
   While holding the wealth mascot with both hands, take a step out from the front door of your residence. Face east, take eight steps, then recite, “Wealth God, please come into my home!” three times. In this way, one picks up the wealth god of the Yisi Year and brings the deity home. Take the treasure bowl back inside your residence and place it in the wealth corner. This concludes the practice.
