Rev. Shi Lianzun (釋蓮尊) Is NO Longer a TBS Reverend

Regarding Shi Lianzun (釋蓮尊, Legal Name Bai Zhengwei, 柏正維)

Following investigation, it was determined that for a long time, Rev. Shi Lianzun (Bai Zhengwei) insulted and defamed Root Lineage Guru Living Buddha Lian-sheng based on his auditory hallucinations. Multiple attempts to guide and advise him were of no avail. Therefore, Shi Lianzun is no longer a suitable member of the True Buddha School (TBS) ordained sangha. In accordance with the Regulations Governing Reverends outlined in the TBS Bylaws, the True Buddha Foundation (TBF) issues the following personnel disposition:

TBF hereby revokes the TBS reverend status of Bai Zhengwei (formerly Rev. Shi Lianzun). Effective immediately, Bai Zhengwei is no longer a member of the TBS ordained sangha and no longer has the status of TBS reverend.

In addition, the precept certificate of Bai Zhengwei is canceled. To avoid confusion, Bai Zhengwei is no longer authorized to wear the robes and lama outfit of a TBS reverend.
