His Holiness Dharma King Living Buddha Lian-sheng Bestowed Acharya Status on Rev. Shi Lianren (蓮任) and Rev. Shi Lianyang (蓮洋)

On Feb. 8, 2022, at the True Buddha Tantric Quarter in Seattle, HH Dharma King Living Buddha Lian-sheng bestowed Acharya status upon Rev. Shi Lianren and Rev. Shi Lianyang.

The promotion of Rev. Shi Lianren of True Buddha Temple Maryland in Washington, D.C and Rev. Shi Lianyang of TBS Veil Parasol Temple in California, USA was the result of their outstanding performance after their ordination. They carried out their responsibilities with enthusiasm, cultivated wholeheartedly, energetically advanced bodhi affairs, and influenced many sentient beings to take refuge in Dharma King Living Buddha Lian-sheng, thus helping to assure the long-term continuation of the True Buddha Tantric Dharma lineage.

The opportunity ripened this day. As HH Living Buddha Lian-sheng bestowed Acharya empowerment on the two reverends at the True Buddha Tantric Quarter, he encouraged them to cultivate diligently to attain realization and liberate themselves from the cycle of birth and death. While on the path to deliver themselves to Buddhahood, they should also work to save others.

Grandmaster further advised the Acaryas to actively cooperate with the administrative operations of TBF, promote the True Buddha Tantric Dhama, and broadly enable more sentient beings to take refuge in TBS.
