Acharya Status Restored to Rev. Lianqin(蓮勤)


The suspension of Rev. Lianqin’s status as a True Buddha School (TBS) acharya which was previously imposed per 《TBS Personnel Disciplinary Order 0011》has now been lifted. During this period of education and reflection, Rev. Lianqin made a sincere effort, periodically repented in writing to Grandmaster and True Buddha Foundation (TBF), and reported his homework and the progress he had made. As a result, on Nov. 3, 2020, Root Guru HH Living Buddha Lian-sheng granted Rev. Lianqin special permission for restoration of acharya status. However, Rev. Lianqin shall complete his remaining repentance homework as planned and shall not violate any precepts from this day forth.

TBF hereby issues the following personnel notice:
  1. As of Nov. 3, 2020, Rev. Lianqin’s TBS acharya status has been restored.
  2. We look forward to Master Lianqin not disappointing Grandmaster’s benevolence, remaining true to his original aspiration, exercising self-restraint and self-encouragement, following precepts, delivering self and others, and attaining the fruition of bodhi.
