The election process is as follows:
1) Date: September 10th 2007 Monday at 1:30pm; transportation is arranged for 12:30pm to depart from the Seattle Chapter. Bardo deliverance ceremony is conducted in the Seattle Chapter on September 8th 2007

1:30pm Registration

1:15pm Welcome speech by the chairperson

1:20pm- Summary on the election by the chairperson

1:25pm- Voting commence

2:00pm- Ballots count

5:00pm- Announcement of the result of the election by the chairperson

5:30pm- Refreshments will be served

6:00pm- Dinner

2) Venue: Seattle Rainbow Villa

3) Method of election :
i) each master is allowed to nominate no more than 21 candidates, the ballot is considered invalid otherwise
ii) the first 21 candidates with the highest votes are elected to be committee members of the True Buddha Foundation. Seven of the 21 candidates with the highest scores of the votes are elected as Directors of The True Buddha Foundation
At the same time , elections will be carried out for nominations of group leaders for the following groups:
華光功德會, home for the elderly and hospice , The True Buddha cemetery , group for promoting Grand Master
