In respect of Lineage Root Guru, the Living Buddha Lian-Sheng, Grand Master`s 89th ``Cultivating Sadhana or procedure of various deities`` in his 154th book ``The Halo of Wisdom``(page 186 through 188). Grand Master said: ``In the Sadhana or practice procedure of Vajrayana, the practitioner starts out with deity invocation. The first invocation has to address the Lineage Root Guru to whom the practitioner supplicates for blessing of the practice such that it shall be perfectly complete. This purportedly signifies devoted commemoration of the root lineage. The practitioner shall recite the root guru heart mantra 7 times, 21 times or 49 times before he or she starts cultivation in stages; such is expedient to better result.``

As per True Buddha Foundation, the Core Committee have arrived at a unanimous resolution, consequent upon a group conference in May this year, to notify all followers that at the beginning of cultivation, the practitioner shall invoke the Lineage Root Guru to empower and radiate light upon and preside at the crown chakra of the practitioner. Then, recite the root guru heart mantra 7 times, 21 times or 49 times (according to the circumstance of each individual) and beseech the Lineage Root Guru for blessing such that the cultivation session shall be auspicious and perfectly complete.

``Blessing of the root lineage is the foundation of attainment.`` One must remember the Lineage Root Guru at all times. No matter which Tantra Dharma or any Dharma practice the practitioner undertakes, recital of ``Padmakumara Heart Mantra`` must be done beforehand, for it`s the mantra of the root lineage. One must recite the mantra for life so as to continuously commemorate the root lineage.
