In the chapter Growing Hair Relics in Book 118 Charisma of Heaven and Earth, Grandmaster stated that disciples will receive Grandmaster's blessing of Dharma power if they enshrine and pay homage to a stupa containing Grandmaster's hair relics. The blessing arises because, due to homophony in the Chinese pronunciation of ''Dharma'' (fa) and ''hair'' (fa), in this case, hair can be considered to have the meaning of ''Dharma''.

Grandmaster has compassionately instructed the True Buddha Foundation Response Centers in Seattle and Taiwan to respond to disciples' requests for Grandmaster's hair relics by bestowing the relics immediately. For disciples who seek Grandmaster's hair relics, obtaining the relics by requesting them through a Response Center is the correct source. Donations in connection with such requests are voluntary.

Please be advised that it is counter to Grandmaster's original intent in bestowing hair relics to use them as an incentive in connection with the purchase of merchandise. Therefore, to avoid fraud or other type of damage, anyone who is obtaining Grandmaster's hair relics in connection with a commercial transaction is advised to carefully identify and authenticate the source of the relics.
