Grand Master conducted Maha Mayuri Deity Homa along with empowerment on September 27, 2009,

On Sunday, September 27, 2009, the Four Groups of disciples from all over the world had come blissful of Dharma to Rainbow Temple. Grand Master, His Holines Lian-Sheng had set out to conduct the Maha Mayuri Deity Homa ceremony after which the empowerment thereof was also imparted to all the attending disciples individually one-by-one using a peacock feather.

Grand Master made reference to the recent 2009`s Amitabha Bardo Deliverance and Calamity Eradication Ceremonial Assembly held at Lynnwood Convention Center on September 5, 2009, as to the tenet that Maha Mayuri Buddha-Mother is a tantamount Buddha-Body of Vairocana Buddha and Tathagata Buddha; is a Bliss-Body of Amitabha Buddha; and, is a Transformation Body of Sakyamuni Buddha. Practicing the Tantric Dharma or Sadhana of Maha Mayuri Deity Yoga can veer the practitioners away from natural calamities and man-made disasters. This great and unique Tantric Dharma is thus considered to be very hard to come by in hundreds of years. Should the practitioner be able to enter spiritual interfusion with Maha Mayuri Buddha-Mother, he or she would then be able to enter spiritual interfusion with numerous other Buddhas. Relying on the combined power of numerous Buddhas, one can manipulate the predestinated factors in one`s own destiny. Therefore, at the grace and mercy of Grand Master, His Holiness Lian-Sheng, we were once again bestowed the second opportunity to be empowered the Tantric Dharma ,and all were hence spurred on to treasure the affinity for the Dharma.

As the Homa ceremony ended, Grand Master said in his exposition that the specific procedure of the Maha Mayuri Yoga was already expounded during the last Dharma Assembly (in Lynnwood on September 5, 2009), and that Acharya Lian-Ning Master already posted the Sadhana or procedure of Maha Mayuri Yoga on True Buddha School`s web site. All are welcomed to download it at their convenience. As such, this Dharma is deemed perfectly complete. Grand Master pointed out: one must be furnished with lot of merits beforehand in order to be transmitted and empowered with this Tantric Dharma. The sentient beings with affinity for this Dharma would vie for the empowerment; on the other hand, the sentient beings without affinity for this Dharma would not accept the empowerment since they could not assimilate what they heard of the Dharma. Thus, all the sentient beings with the karmic affinity ought to treasure the opportunity in this lifetime and practice assiduously henceforth.

King of Dharma, Grand Master admonished the disciples mercifully: if one knew of one`s own Karmic hindrances in this lifetime, one should cultivate diligently in Tantric practice; one has to adjust one`s heart to luminosity; adjust one`s speech and action to correctitude. Do not double-talk, swear profanity, speak ill of others, be jealous, be envious, be harmful to others, be hateful of others, and so on; one ought to make body, speech and mind immaculate in order to take on the role of a Boddhisattva, an ordained person in monkhood, or a lay Dharma practitioner. One has to bring happiness to others; do not bring pain and suffering to others; philanthropize by freewill to the tether of one`s ability, and even sacrifice everything in one`s possession to vastly redeem all sentient beings. Greed, anger, delusion, suspicion and self-conceit are vices that have to be rid of, so that the heart can shine forth upon death and hence be naturally guided to the Pure Land of Buddhas. On the contrary, a blemished and defiled heart would naturally lead one to the Six Divisions of Perpetual Reincarnation.

Grand Master indicated, the teachers of Sutrayana and Tantrayana that he had taken refuge with since the many years ago have all past away (into Nirvana). Following their passing away is Grand Master himself. King of Dharma, Grand Master summed up the impermanence of human existence in this adage: ``Watching others leaving before me, my heart flares up like fire; not to burn others yet, but to take my turn after others.``

Grand Master concluded: ``Practitioners on the Dharma path should not be afraid of leaving human existence; all of you thought that Grand Master will not leave human embodiment for good, that`s a wicked view. In fact, Grand Master is well-prepared to go; when it`s time to go, it always has been predestined as such. Not only will Grand Master go, all of you will go as well. Present is such, future is such, all are equally as such.``

After listening to Grand Master`s splendid exposition, the Four Groups of disciples could only show gratitude towards the Grand Master by honoring the Master, treasuring the Dharma and practicing assiduously.
