Diligently practice the ``Mind Introspection Method`` in order to realize the Buddha Nature empirica

Metropolitan Seattle is currently undergoing cold wintery wind and rain. On the evening of November 7th, 2009, a regular weekend of group cultivation, co-devotees and laity from all ten directions braved the wind and rain to come to partake of the assembly in quest of extraordinary dharma affinity. Sincere gratitude was imparted to Grand Master and Acharya Master Shimu for their personal blessing of the Yellow Jambhala Principal Deity Group Practice led by Acharya Master Lian-Zhu.

After the group cultivation, Dharma Instructor Lian-Tsu shared her thought about the causal conditions of affinity that led her to take ordination in monkhood. She talked to her heart`s content as to how incredible Grand Master and True Buddha tantric dharmas are. She realized deep at heart from one of her revelatorily lucid dreams that diligent practice of True Buddha tantric dharmas can perpetuate one`s Buddha Nature and lifespan of the dharmakaya or spiritual body as a ``longevity medicine.`` Next, Acharya Master, in his dharma discourse, encouraged all practitioners to earn and accumulate positive spiritual merits under pursuitlessness and thoughtlessness , proceed to heartfeltly experience the inner joy of giving than taking, diligently and progressively practice True Buddha tantric dharmas, as well as help founding a True Buddha world to benefit all sentient beings pervasively.

Next, the King of Dharma, Grand Master Lian-Sheng continued on with his exposition on ``The Altar Sutra as Spoken by the Sixth Patriarch`` as part of His dharma discourse: ``Learned Audience, when the 5th Patriarch sermonized to me I became enlightened immediately after he had spoken, and spontaneously realized the real nature of Tathata or Suchness. For this reason it is my particular object to propagate the teaching of this `Sudden` School, so that the learner may find Bodhi at once and realize their nature by introspection of mind.`` Grand Master went on to expound on the passage from the scripture, that it`s very difficult for the practitioner to realize the true nature of mind. Upon enlightenment, one must make effort to introspect one`s own mind at all times; one must conform her or his action, speech and intention (to the behavioral norms as set forth in the code of precepts) so as to check oneself whether within or out of range of being enlightened. If one could conform to the requisite and discipline expedient to attainment of enlightenment, then the discernment of the Buddha Nature should be possible. Grand Master has gone the distance over a long period of time in cultivaing Himself in tantric practice assiduously. He has come to understand the real meaning of the so-called ``Five Wisdoms and Three Bodies``; He has learned all the tantric dharmas and had gone through the whole nine yards in a meticulously diligent practice that led to spiritual atonement whereby one can genuinely become a Vajra Acharya (Body) which is changeless in color, changeless in shape and decay-less in essence and the same is true of the Buddha Nature. Grand Master sincerely admonished all devotees that the object of practicing Buddhism is to ``keep the wisdom-life awake`` so as not to indulge oneself in pursuit of wealth, sensuality, prestige, food and sleep. Grand Master mentioned that He has ``never committed bad deed`` in His life, would never do something in order to be rewarded in return, but He always wishes with goodwill that every sentient being has a auspicious and satisfactory life and that every sentient being is wide awake thereby can cultivate oneself in tantric practice.
The heartfelt compassion of Grand Master had deeply touched and inspired every attending devotee but was unable to describe the aroused emotion in word.

At the end of the dharma discourse and in the midst of continual chanting of Buddha`s epithet, the compassionate Grand Master blessed the Great Compassion Dharani water, sanctified the statues of Buddha, and bless empowered all the kneeling devotees by palming their heads who formed a aisle through which Grand Master passed. In exclamation of our being able to chance upon such an highly attained master, this is indeed a fortune on the part of the attending sentient beings!
