HH Living Buddha Lian-sheng Prostrated and Paid Homage to Sentient Beings

【TBSN News】Living Buddha Lian-sheng's Great Vow! Carrying Sentient Beings on His Shoulders
and Paying Homage to Them Moving the Audience to Tears.

(Note: In reality, the true meaning of Grandmaster's homage to sentient beings is sacred and profound. Regrettably, this meaning cannot be put in words for fear of misinterpretation. For more information, kindly watch the full video at: https://youtu.be/vPejmWBqm7c )

【Reported by Master Liandian in Nantou, Translated by Lynn Ang, Edited by DJ Chang and Henry Wolf】On January 6, 2018, Dharma King Living Buddha Lian-sheng Sheng-yen Lu presided over a Red Manohara Vasudhara Homa Ceremony at Taiwan Lei Tsang Temple.

Following the homa, Living Buddha Lian-sheng discoursed that Red Manohara Vasudhara descended as he was forming and turning the Vajra Hook Mudra. Traditionally, the Chinese believe that water symbolizes wealth, and as it turned out, it was raining outside today. If one happened to be in the rain today, one's prayer for wealth and fortune will be abundantly fulfilled.
Grandmaster then discoursed the key point in invoking Red Manohara Vasudhara to descend. While one's Hook Mudra is turning three times to the left and right, one must visualize that Red Manohara Vasudhara's hook simultaneously turns three times.

As we are aware, of the ten grounds of a bodhisattva, the sixth ground, Abhimukhi, represents the actual appearance of the path to one's vision. All practices prior to seeing the path are known as generation stage practices. The bodhisattva levels after the sixth level are known as the completion stage. Durangama, the seventh bodhisattva ground, is the stage of ''proceeded far.'' This means one will soon reach the other shore and is nearly free of ordinary birth and death.

In the generation stage, one cultivates the path of accumulation. This means refraining from evil while offering service and good conduct for the benefit of others. In the human world, ''wealth'' is ''accumulation.'' Therefore, having wealth is extremely important in the generation stage.

Red Manohara Vasudhara Mantra:「Om。 ma-ruo-ha-ri-ah。 ha-ri-ah, om。yin-ku-sa。 yin-ku-sa。 seh-seh-seh。 hum-hum-hum。 pei。 so-ha。」

Red Manohara Vasudhara (Gou Cai Tian Nu in Chinese) is one and the the same deity as the Vajrayana deity ''Gou She Cai Xu Mu.'' The ''mu'' character has a broad interpretation. It signifies ''female'' and has the same meaning as ''nu.'' Therefore, ''Tian Mu'' is used interchangeably with ''Tian Nu.''

When Amitabha Buddha was establishing the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss, Red Manohara Vasudhara accompanied him by his side as he travelled through a trillion buddha lands. Red Manohara Vasudhara came swirling out from Amitabha Buddha's immovable heart as an emanation, carrying a vajra hook to hook the quintessence of each buddha land, thus creating the entire Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss.

Red Manohara Vasudhara has dominion over all the wealth deities and is the greatest wealth deity in the Western Pure Land. Attainment of spiritual union with Red Manohara Vasudhara is equivalent to attainment of spiritual union with Amitabha Buddha. It is also attainment of the wisdom of the Tathagata. At the same time, one attains spiritual union with Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva, Mahasthamaprapta Bodhisattva, Vajrayana's Five Jambalas, and all wealth deities. This is the wonderful attribute of Red Manohara Vasudhara.

Afterwards, Living Buddha Lian-sheng continued with a discourse on Lamdre.
To practice body shrine for the wheel of protection, one must first perfect one's meditation practice. One invokes Vajra Heruka from the void. After making external, internal, secret, and suchness offerings, one invites Vajra Heruka to merge with one. As one's body and mind radiate light, one cultivates the wheel of protection.

Sitting upon the throne at the center of the shrine is one who is one's guru, principal deity, and dharma protector. By cultivating the Guanyin Body Shrine Calamity Eradication Practice, one can completely eradicate disasters and demonic influences.

Recently, White Tara exposed the secret of why XX's ''dharma talks'' are so convincing. As it turns out, she plagiarizes Grandmaster's dharma discourses, and her claims of supernatural powers are exaggerations, fabrications, and embellishments based on Grandmaster's discourses.

For example, Grandmaster spoke of an incident where the Eight Dragon Kings paid homage to him. Not long afterwards, XX also spoke about Dragon Kings paying homage to her. In fact, according to XX, the entire Dragon King family came to support her.
On another occasion, Grandmaster related an incident about a cat who was previously a master. Subsequently, XX talked about a similar incident involving a chameleon, and added many other stories as well.
Grandmaster once talked about an ''Infant Spirits Villa'' and it was later reported that XX was ''building a school in the netherworld.''
On another occasion, Grandmaster revealed that he met Manjushri Bodhisattva while visiting Mount Wutai. XX subsequently made a trip to Mount Wutai and claimed to have met Manjushri Bodhisattva...etc.
Grandmaster stated that the incidents he's encountered are all true and authentic. White Tara commented that the fake can seem more real than the real.

These examples show that XX's stories of supernatural powers and ''talks'' are plagiarized from Grandmaster's dharma discourses. In addition, her stories have also been exaggerated, fabricated and added on.
XX's forte is her denial of all wrongdoing. Some people are remorseful and repent their wrongdoings while others persist in lies and deception.
Grandmaster never asks anyone to do anything because he believes people should take initiative and make their own plans. XX, however, is an expert at getting people to do things for her.

Next, Grandmaster gave a discourse on the body shrine. One constructs a body shrine during meditation. When reciting scriptures, one should chant clearly and not miss a single word. For example, while reciting High King Sutra, one should fully concentrate on the word chanted. One must pay full attention to each word of the sutra and clearly visualize every buddha in one's mind.

The Hundred Syllable Mantra can be recited after a cultivation session to completely rectify any mistakes, errors, or omissions in the practice. One trains one mind to be undistracted while meditating. One need not fear distracted thoughts however, as mistakes can be rectified by reciting the Hundred Syllable Mantra.

While discoursing on repentance, Grandmaster demonstrated his great vow of carrying sentient beings on his shoulders by paying homage to sentient beings with a full prostration. At that moment, disciples were moved to tears.

(Note: The profound meaning of Grandmaster paying homage to sentient beings with a full prostration is deep and infinite. Regrettably, out of fear this sacred meaning will be misinterpreted, it will not be expressed in writing.
