The Fifth Term True Buddha Foundation Core Committee Meeting

The fifth term True Buddha Foundation (TBF) Core Committee meeting, held in California, concluded on July 6, 2018, after three days of intensive discussions. The following directors participated in the meeting:
Chairman: Master Lianhua Chengzu (蓮花程祖);
Director of Finance: Master Lianyin (蓮印);
Director of Supervision: Master Lianseng(蓮僧);
Director of Public Relations: Master Liantai(蓮太);
Director of Education: Master Lianhe (蓮訶);
Director of Promotional Literature: Master Lianyue (蓮悅);
Director of Dharma Activities: Master Liandong (蓮東)
In his opening remarks, the chairman thanked Vijaya Temple for donating part of the proceeds of the Luotian Ceremony to TBF. Thanks to this donation, TBF will be able to fund future projects, including educational programs for dharma propagation personnel and the TBF five-year dharma propagation plan. TBF intends to return part of the donated funds to Vijaya Temple to support the temple's future growth and development.

Since the chairman and the six directors had fully prepared prior to the meeting, all of major and minor issues affecting TBS were thoroughly discussed during the meeting. Everyone contributed their best effort to solving problems. In addition to finding solutions for the various issues currently faced by TBS, the directors expressed commitment to implement a program which will cultivate dharma propagation personnel through education, so that morality and Buddhist education become the positive energy of True Buddha practitioner.

As TBS temples, chapters, and cultivation venues spread worldwide, TBF will continue to actively communicate with local Vajrayana associations and Buddhist institutes. TBF will work hand in hand with these organizations to fully and effectively complement each other's efforts. It is hoped that these education and networking initiatives will fulfill the hopes and aspirations of Root Guru Living Buddha Lian-sheng by producing a new generation of highly trained and educated Buddhist practitioners.

TBF will utilize various means of communication to achieve the goal of keeping the public informed of TBF news and activities. By fully integrating TBS media resources, TBF will be able to instantly and proactively respond to external media reports regarding TBS.

TBF intends to influence the public with a positive public image of TBS. In this way, the community will receive a true understanding of TBS and its founder, Root Guru Living Buddha Lian-sheng while also increasing dharma affinity.

TBF encourages all TBS dharma propagation personnel and principals of TBS cultivation venues to attend all TBS educational networking workshops. Participating in this activity will promote teamwork, help spread TBS education, and encourage caring initiatives within cultivation venues.

TBF hopes the educational networking workshops will not only benefit disciples by helping them learn more about Buddhadharma, but also enable disciples to assist in perfecting the organization of cultivation venues. At the same time, TBF is actively working to enhance multi-language translation services, and will provide live English and Indonesian translation during the upcoming educational networking workshops on September 7.

During the Core Committee meeting, the chairman presented a Certificate of Honor to every director. TBF directors are entrusted to accomplish TBS goals over the long term, no matter what obstacles they may face.

The meeting was a tremendous success, and concluded in a joyful and harmonious atmosphere. The Core Committee expressed its gratitude to Root Guru Living Buddha Lian-sheng and all the buddhas and bodhisattvas for their blessings and support.
