On April 10, 2016, Hsinchu Fuyu Temple hosted a heartfelt appreciation dinner to express gratitude for Grandmaster and Shimu. During the dinner, Sunshine Dance Troupe, led by Shimu Master Lianxiang, performed five vivacious dances. The dancing was followed by beautiful and touching songs performed by the Heavenly Harmony Choir. There was storytelling from Grandmaster's books and more performances of Hakka ethnic group songs and dances. The scene was energetic and entertaining! The non-stop, lively interaction between performers and audience kept everyone excited the entire night!

As a finale, Grandmaster sang ''My Homeland'' which moved everyone deeply, and the evening was brought to a perfect conclusion by Grandmaster singing ''Om-mani-padme-hum…''
