On Nov. 9th 2013, in Seattle during the evening cultivation session before his departure for Taiwan, His Holinesss Living Buddha Lian-sheng besides expressed emotional farewells, had also verbalized his thoughts concerning his retirement with the Golden Mother of the Jade Pond. Besides the expressed denials from the disciples present, many others send messages of concern after attending the live web transmission of the night. The sincere concerns for their guru master and earnestness for Grand Master to continue turning the Dharma Wheel is more than words can express. True Buddha Foundation will represent the disciples and followers all over the world in relating this warm concern to Grand Master, and at the same time to all True Buddha temples, chapters and cultivation congregations, an announcement as follows:

Our Holy Grand Master, due to his resolution in delivering sentient beings and spreading the Buddha Dharma, had for many decades been writing and cultivating daily without one day of rest. Despite his age and the weariness of flying, he would still go all over the world to perform Dharma ceremonies, give empowerments, and blessings without taking time to rest. All this is to satisfy the wishes of his disciples and followers. Because Grand Master is willing to grant all his disciples’ wishes, we, as his disciples must treasure what he gives, respect him and have concern regards for him. Therefore, in future ceremonies and activities, preparation committees must first gather opinions as to the purpose of the activity. Access carefully the feasibility, necessity and safety of the activity. Then send a detail report including the preparations and itinerary to the True Buddha Foundation for review and approval. Please abide by the directives of the True Buddha Foundation to truly follow the concept of respect the guru and defend the Dharma.
