Living Buddha Lian-sheng explains spiritual violations and how to pass over fire to eliminate vileness.

With the coming of the 7th month of the Lunar Calendar which is also recognized as the month of spirits. Due to many spiritual violations which may occur more frequently at this time, one requires a lot more ways to prevent these occurrences.

In the teachings of Dharma King Living Buddha Lian-sheng, are many different preventing methods to protect us from such occurrences.Such as Armour Protection method, the Avalokitesvara (Guan-yin) Bodhisattva Body Shrine Calamity Evasion Practice, the Kalachakra Shield Protection Practice, the Vajra Bell and Vajra Scepter boundary protection method, the boundary purification with Great Compassion Water method and etc.

In Today’ s As I Have Heard Essay, we will report the method of passing over fire as taught by Living Buddha Lian-sheng. This method is simple and easy to learn and yet very effective and precious. This method can eliminate the vileness of spiritual violations in a timely fashion.

The precious Dharma Speech of Dharma King Lian-sheng (Grand Master Sheng-Yen Lu)

When Grand Master finished his dinner and was walking toward the True Buddha Quarter. One of the female disciple asked Grand Master, why during this pregnancy, she often does not feel well.
Grand Master observed a bit and then realized, that this disciple lack ’ boundary protection ’ The Ying spirits at her home affected her health and in turn affected the fetus. Afterwards it was revealed that this disciple had a previous pregnancy that ended in a miscarriage after a few months.

Grand Master warned all disciples to perform the Armor Protection daily, and the boundary protection every half month. It must be done every half month because in this world there can never be a boundary protection method that can be effective forever. Grand Master added that performing the Kalachakra Shield Protection Practice for the first time must be done on the (elimination days) or (substantiate days).

Grand Master laughingly said that there are times when you walk through a ghost spirit, if his energy is stronger than yours then you are violated by Ying insertion. Usually, the 7th month is when the door to the ghost realm is open. So at this time a lot of children could be violated due to the high possibility in bumping into a Ying spirit. If this happened to you, then you must pass over a fire of burning sutra paper in the same direction that you passed the spirit to eliminate the vile energy that was passed on to you and at the same time increase your yang energy. (Editor’ s note: the simple method of passing over the fire is to start a fire with the sutra paper and then step over this fire back and forth three times. This is to pass over fire to remove the vileness.)

At this time, one of the disciples asked. If I did not know which direction I had been violated, then which direction should I pass over the fire?
Grand Master answered. Then to be sure, do it once for each direction. Everyone present laughed happily to this answer.

Disciple asked again. What if the person that needs to pass over the fire, but unable to, due to handicap?
Grand Master answered. Let other people carry this person over the fire.

Disciple asked. Can we move the fire under this disable person by moving the fire back and forth?
Grand Master answered. This fire represents set on the ground and not movable. So do not move the fire around the bottom of the disable person. If possible, use whatever method to help this person to pass over the fire.

Another disciple asked. Must we use the Sutra paper for this fire or can we substitute with other paper and wood to kindle this fire?
Grand Master answered. It is not the same, because Sutra Paper has the religious empowerment.
Then a disciple next to Grand Master jokingly said. If the ghost bumps into Grand Master then the ghost got violated.

Grand Master happily said. Every time Grand Master passes by, the ghosts all run to hide and step away quickly knocking the wall and doors, and then the whole house would have ’ pohn, pohn, pohn ’ sound. This is why whenever Grand Master goes into a room such as going to the washroom would snap his fingers in warning before entering.

An inquisitive disciple asked. Why most ghost like to stay in the bathrooms?
Grand Master answered. That is because there is things that they like there, such as pee and feces. The drippings of urine on the floor are what would attract them.
