On the third day of the Lunar New Year, H.H. Living Buddha Lian-sheng mentioned that during the homa ceremony
hundreds of thousands of millions of Red Jambhalas appeared in the empty space. They spouted nectar which can cure
the illnesses of sentient beings. At this same time Taiwan Lei Tsang temple was completely inundated with gold, cash,
golden eggs, and all kinds of treasures worth around USD 200 billion. Someone will undoubtedly win the jackpot this time.

【Reported by Master Liandian in Nantou, Translated by Lynn Ang, Edited by Henry Wolf and DJ Chang】On January 30, 2017, the third day of the Lunar New Year, a Red Jambhala homa ceremony was held at Taiwan Lei Tsang temple.
Following the homa Living Buddha Lian-sheng offered a song to Red Jambhala. Living Buddha Lian-sheng then pointed out that hundreds of thousands of millions of Red Jambhalas appeared in the empty space and spouted nectar which can cure the illnesses of sentient beings. At the same time Taiwan Lei Tsang temple was completely inundated with gold, cash, golden eggs, and all kinds of treasures worth around USD 200 billion. Someone will undoubtedly win the jackpot this time.
However, a person's wealth can only be used in the human realm. This wealth cannot be used in the heavenly realm! One who is able to acquire heavenly provisions is the Great Fortune Vajra.
In Hinduism there are three major deities: the destroyer, Lord Shiva (Mahesvara); the creator, Lord Brahma; and the preserver, Lord Vishnu. The son of Shiva, Red Jambhala, also known as Ganesh, is the fourth major wealth god of Hinduism.
Red Jambhala enjoys counting the leaves of carrots because this is how he reckons a person's fortune. For example, Red Jambhala can tell in detail and one by one each individual's entitlement to wealth, clothing, food, property and precious jewels without missing anything, just as if he is enumerating his own valuables.
When one cultivates the Red Jambhala practice, Red Jambhala's trunk spouts nectar which purifies the karmic illnesses of sentient beings. The body and mind of sentient beings will also be completely purified. The secret key cultivation formula is: the mudra of Red Jambhala is formed by interlacing the fingers inward. Next straighten both little fingers and keep them touching together. The extended little fingers symbolize his trunk. Then rub the two little fingers together to touch the heart of Red Jambhala.
Living Buddha Lian-sheng continued with a discourse on the Lamdre. On the first day of the Lunar New Year Grandmaster mentioned that regarding the Four Tantras, in order to attain the highest level of teachings in Lamdre one must first receive four levels of empowerments.
There will be affirming signs. For example, one may have auspicious dreams, or one will see and perceive buddha nature in everything.
Bodhidharma asked his Master: What is buddha?
His Master replied: Seeing one's buddha-nature is buddhahood.
Bodhidharma asked further: How is this perceived?
His Master replied: Buddhahood can be recognized through practical application. The buddha-nature can be seen in clothing, food, housing, and transportation. The buddha-nature is inherent in any and all practical functions and applications.
Living Buddha Lian-sheng further discoursed that although enlightenment can be ''seen'' mental patients can also ''see.'' But the ''seeing'' of those with mental disorders are auditory and visual hallucinations due to demonic influences. Also, one is able to see spirits during the moment prior to one's death because one has ''bardo eyes'' at that moment.
If buddhas and bodhisattvas appear before one at the moment of death one should recite ''Om, gu-ru, lian-sheng, sid-dhi, hum'' three times. If the buddhas and bodhisattvas are authentic they will remain. If they are imposters they will disappear.
At the moment true and authentic buddhas and bodhisattvas appear one should follow Amitabha Buddha with one's mind. By merging with the heart of the buddha one can be reborn in the pure land. Furthermore, one will reincarnate according to one's karma. If one has the karma to attain buddhahood one will reincarnate as a buddha. If one has the karma to become a bodhisattva one will reincarnate as a bodhisattva...
Regarding practices there are both common and uncommon practices.
Virupa's key cultivation formulas were extremely fragmented and were not presented in an orderly fashion. Sakya Pandita organized and condensed Virupa's writings into this book. Grandmaster teaches the Lamdre based on his own realization and insights.
The key cultivation formula for Red Jambhala practice is that one must form the Wrathful Vajra Mudra while holding a vajra sceptre in one's hand. One places the vajra sceptre on Red Jambhala's head and then commands Red Jambhala to spout nectar to cure sentient beings' illnesses and to spout precious treasures as dharma wealth for carrying out bodhi undertakings.
Everyone has their own strengths, good points and advantages. These are all due to the protection of Red Jambhala, the Lord of provisions.
The ceremony was thus auspiciously and perfectly concluded!
