The True Buddha School Pays Tribute to Venerable Master Hsing Yun
Master Hsing Yun, the founder of Fo Guang Shan, passed away at the age of 97. We grieve for the loss of this admirable and virtuous elder who dedicated his entire life to promoting Buddhism. In the course of his lifetime, Master Hsing Yun cultivated monastics, furthered academic education, and developed the theory and practice of Humanistic Buddhism. He devoted himself to spreading Buddhadharma in every way possible and was the embodiment of compassionate activity.
Master Hsing Yun will be remembered for his loving-kindness, great vows, and noteworthy accomplishments. His life and deeds are a model for people everywhere.
