Celebrating Grandmaster’s Birthday
with a Global Grand Trinity of Longevity Deities Feast Offering Ceremony to Supplicate Buddha to Stay in the World

The 78th birthday of True Buddha School root lineage guru H.H. Living Buddha Lian-sheng falls on the 18th day of the fifth lunar month, 2022. In conjunction with the celebration of Grandmaster’s birthday, a global Grand Trinity of Longevity Deities Feast Offering (tsok) Ceremony will be held to supplicate buddha to stay in the world.

The True Buddha Foundation (TBF) is working hand in hand with True Buddha School (TBS) masters and reverends, Dharma propagation personnel of all levels, and worldwide TBS cultivation venues to host a Grand Trinity of Longevity Deities Feast Offering Ceremony to supplicate buddha to remain in the world. This event will be comprised of three sessions with each session being a feast offering to one of the three longevity deities, namely, Ushnishavijaya, White Tara and Amitayus (Longevity Buddha). The merit of the offering ceremonies will be dedicated to Grandmaster along with a sincere supplication for Guru Buddha to stay in the world, be unhindered, have a long and healthy life, and continue to turn the Dharma wheel for the benefit of countless sentient beings.

According to legend, Patriarch Tsongkhapa faced three major obstacles while living in the world. To eliminate these obstacles, Tsongkhapa prepared abundant offerings and held three feast offering ceremonies on a grand scale. Miraculously, upon completion of the ceremonies, all three obstacles were eradicated. Patriarch Tsongkhapa went on to enjoy a long and unhindered life which afforded him time and opportunity to continue turning the Dharma wheel for the benefit of countless sentient beings!

As we celebrate Grandmaster’s 78th birthday, TBF invites all temples, cultivation venues, Dharma propagation personnel of all levels and worldwide disciples and devotees to join hands and create history by participating in this unprecedented grand feast offering ceremony which will be held live globally via Zoom. Together, let’s supplicate buddha to stay in the world, and dedicate the merit of the ceremony to Guru Buddha for a long and healthy life so he may continue liberating sentient beings and extensively turning the Dharma wheel!

The grand feast offering ceremony will be held in three individual sessions. One longevity deity will be designated as the principal deity of each session. Cultivation venues worldwide are welcome to choose the most convenient ceremony and participate in that ceremony via Zoom. Let’s all join hands and turn the Dharma wheel together!

*Altar Preparation and Arrangement
Eight Offerings："water，bathing water，flowers，perfumes，lamps，incense，fruit，and music". wine/liquor、meat、cooked food、rice、water。
If cultivating a feast offering at home, one neither needs to perform outside food offering, nor to bless offerings with a vajra bell and scepter. Just pray to the principal deity to emit light and bless everything.
