Best Wishes for Guru Buddha’s Birthday, 2021
~ From Master Lianseng,a Director of the True Buddha Foundation, on behalf of the True Buddha Foundation and True Buddha disciples worldwide
Dearest Guru Buddha Dharma King HH Living Buddha Lian-sheng, our revered Shimu Master Lianxiang, Masters, Senior Reverends, Reverends, Dharma Instructors, Dharma Assistants, and disciples. Greetings!
On behalf of the True Buddha Foundation and millions of True Buddha disciples worldwide, we offer our most heartfelt best wishes to our most revered and beloved Guru Buddha Dharma King HH Living Buddha Lian-sheng:
Congratulations and Best Wishes Guru Buddha
May you enjoy good health and longevity, be unhindered, have peace and happiness in body and mind, and everything auspicious.
In the last two years, because of my work with the True Buddha Foundation, I have had an opportunity to serve next to the Root Guru and observe his true and authentic side.
I have personally seen that, aside from some personal time he sets aside for eating and sleeping, the Guru Buddha devotes every instant to sentient beings.
With my own two eyes, I have observed that the Guru Buddha puts his whole heart into blessing every letter he receives and every spiritual consultation he gives. This is the true equality of never abandoning any sentient being.
With my own two eyes, I have observed that the Guru Buddha, after working tirelessly all day, still spends every night delivering spirits who have passed away from COVID-19, sacrificing countless nights of sleep. Saving beings by delivering them to Dharma boats is true unconditional compassion and universal empathy.
In an effort to find words of praise for the virtues of our Guru Buddha, I have racked my brain considering countless words of description. But in the end, the best words to describe the virtues of Guru Buddha are “having lived up to the expectations of sentient beings”.
Unconditionally, asking nothing in return, and without any regrets, Guru Buddha gives his time, spirit, and all his energy to sentient beings. Regardless of how weary he may feel or how much pain he may be suffering, regardless of how much pressure he may feel or how many people insult and defame him, he truly carries out the great activity and great vows of a bodhisattva by “having lived up to the expectations of sentient beings”.
But, the prayers and supplications of sentient beings are endless, sometimes even somewhat...
For example, Guru Buddha will take time from his afternoon break to provide spiritual consultation to the maximum of 15-20 people. In the end, the number of people seeking consultation may be more than 100. Why? Because everyone was a magician. Besides their own list of issues for spiritual consultation, they will, from their pockets, pull out further lists of questions from others needing Grandmaster’s advice. This not only seriously impacts the right of other people in line to receive Grandmaster’s spiritual consultation, it also increases Grandmaster’s physical and spiritual burdens.
Another example is when someone suddenly exercises great compassion to help deliver all the homeless ghosts who died in all the great battles throughout history. These sentient beings who exercise great compassion should put their own vows into action, but they don’t. Instead, they make a simple offering supplicating Guru Buddha to deliver all these countless homeless spirits. Although Guru Buddha still accepts these kinds of naive and ignorant supplications, the sacrifice required for Guru Buddha to do this each time exhausts his precious physical and spiritual energy.
What the Guru Buddha gives us is really too much, but we have little ability to repay him. As True Buddha disciples receive the Root Guru’s supreme Dharma milk and blessings, they should also work on purifying the body, speech, and mind at all times. Disciples should treasure their affinity with Guru Buddha and the rare opportunity to be together with him in their lifetime.
Disciples supplicate Guru Buddha: since you will “give everything you have to sentient beings”, please answer the prayers of all True Buddha disciples, do not become weary, and give yourself more time to rest because the Guru Buddha’s health and longevity are the greatest good fortune and wish of your disciples.
Once again, congratulations and best wishes to you!
May the Guru Buddha have good health and peace, joy, good fortune, longevity, and be unhindered and happy every day!
