Caring for Poor Families Seeking Help

On 26 September 2020, Lotus Light Charity Society (Malaysia) – Jin Hai Branch continued to distribute assistance supplies, visiting and rendering aid to 4 families seeking help.

The first poor family visited was that of Madam Yang, in Masai District, Johor Bahru. Her husband has asthma and was unable to work due to frequent attacks. With no income and two daughters to take care of, she thus looked to Lotus Light Charity Society for help.

The second low-income family visited was that of Madam Chen, who lives in a low-cost housing area in Saleng. Her family has four members, including a patient with chronic illness, thus she sought assistance from Lotus Light Charity Society.

The third family that sought help from Lotus Light Charity Society was that of "Mariam" who lives in the low-cost housing estate in Saleng. Although there are four members in the household, their daughter's work is the only source of income.

The last family visited is that of Madam Lin, who lives in Kelapa Sawit, Kulai. Her husband is a car mechanic with little income. With two sick daughters to take care of, they approached Lotus Light Charity Society for help.

Lotus Light Charity Society (Malaysia) – Jin Hai Branch extended a helping hand when these help-seekers encountered difficulties, and offered care and warmth. Hopefully their circumstances would improve, and they can move towards a better future.
