For prevention of the spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus, there will be a special printing of Tara Who Saves from Contagious Diseases Talisman protection cards to form an affinity with sentient beings.

Although the True Buddha Foundation (TBF) was not originally recommending the mass printing of the Epidemic Prevention Talisman, due to the severity of the coronavirus epidemic and in response to the requests of TBS disciples, Grandmaster has approved a special emergency mass printing of the talisman along with printing the image of Tara Who Saves from Contagious Diseases with the Tara mantra printed on back for visualization and mantra recitation. There will be a mass printing of the protection card for wide distribution, and disciples may wear it for protection from the coronavirus.

There are TBS disciples in every corner of the world, and an extraordinarily large number of cultivation venues and disciples in Southeast Asia. To make it easier for everyone to obtain Tara protection cards blessed by Grandmaster, TBF has specially authorized these three local organizations, True Buddha School Vajrayana Association of R.O.C., the Federation of True Buddha School Malaysia, and the True Buddha School Vajrayana Buddhist Council Indonesia, along with Hong Kong and Brazil to mass print Tara Who Saves from Contagious Diseases protection cards. After all the cards are blessed by HH Root Lineage Guru Living Buddha Lian-sheng, they can be distributed to local cultivation venues and disciples for their protection.

TBF has respectfully invited Dharma King Living Buddha Lian-sheng to preside over recitation of the Mantra of the Tara Who Saves from Contagious Diseases during group practice at Seattle Ling Shen Ching Tze Temple on Saturday, Feb. 29, 2020. Grandmaster will also remotely bless the protection cards of Tara Who Saves from Contagious Diseases enshrined in Taiwan Lei Tsang Temple, Federal Tantric Buddhism Chen Foh Chong Malaysia, Hong Kong Lei Tsang Temple [Buddhism H.K. Lui Tsang Szu Ltd.], Indonesia Lei Tsang Temple [Vihara Vajra Bumi Nusantara], and Brazil Zhendii Lei Tsang Temple. This group practice will begin at 8:00 PM Pacific Standard Time (12:00 pm Sunday, Mar. 1, Taiwan time.)

Cultivation venues which require protection cards may request them directly from their local Vajrayana Association. If there is no local Vajrayana Association, TBF will mail protection cards to the cultivation venue for distribution.

Those who wear protection cards should abide by local regulations and policies governing epidemic control, well maintain personal hygiene, and participate in the TBF
Tara Who Saves From Contagious Diseases Mantra Recitation Event to increase their resistance to the epidemic with the power of collective recitation of the mantra.

Root Lineage Guru Lian-sheng has been respectfully requested to blessThe Tara protection cards. As the merit of these cards is extraordinary, please treat them with greatest respect. The talisman will be effective indefinitely if every 15 days those who wear the protection cards engage in the ritual steps and recite the mantra while visualizing the Root Guru shing blessing light on the talisman.

After the protection cards are blessed by the Root Lineage Guru, they will be mailed to the Vajrayana Association in each country. Cultivation venues that require protection cards may request them directly from the local Vajrayana Association. If the Vajrayana Association is unable to provide protection cards, TBF will mail the cards to the cultivation venue for distribution.
