Seattle LSCT temple organized the Avalokitesvara Bodhisavatta Repentance ceremony (大悲寶懺法會) on July 28th at 730pm in celebrating the KuanYin Bodhisavatta enlightenment day. Master LianYin(釋蓮印金剛上師) conducted the ceremony. His Holiness Grand Master and Grand Madam personally arrived to join in the ceremony. Also in attendance were Master LianHua DeHui (釋蓮花德輝金剛上師), Master LianNing ( 釋蓮寧金剛上師), Master LianJie (釋蓮潔金剛上師) and Senior Reverend LianHua CunLian (蓮花春蓮教授師春). Other Senior reverends, reverends from the Seattle temple and members from across Calgary and Vancouver were also at the ceremony. It was a very busy occasion.

Fresh flowers, fruits , cakes and cookies were placed in front of the shrine as offerings for the event. Before the repentance ceremony, Master LianYin(釋蓮印金剛上師) presented an auspicious Hatta (哈達), a piece of white cloth symbolizing higest respect, to Grand Master . A representative from the Seattle LSCT temple then presented Master LianYin (釋蓮印金剛上師) with a Hatta (哈達).

The ceremony was conducted in such a way that it led the crowd to focus paying homage to the Buddhas and Bodhisavattas with the reverends skillfully poising the Sanskrit chanting. It went smoothly. The crowd sincerely begged for repentance , karma elimination and enhancement of their wisdom and reward.

After the ceremony, Master LianYin (釋蓮印金剛上師) began his dharma speech by telling a story of a monk who did not pay for the tofu he ate in relation to the cause and effect phenomenon. To owe someone money, one needs to pay for his/her debts, otherwise one is accumulating their bad karmas. Master LianYin (釋蓮印金剛上師) encouraged everyone to do things that benefit others, and to appreciate Grand Master
