August 29, 2026 Highlights of the Golden Mother of the Jade Pond Group Practice
By TBSN
Following today's Golden Mother of the Jade Pond group practice, the abbot of Ling Shen Ching Tze Temple and the Masters, on behalf of all disciples, respectfully requested Dharma from Dharma King Liansheng. They respectfully invited Dharma King Liansheng to preside over the Fall Amitabha Buddha Grand Ceremony for Calamity Eradication, Blessings, Enrichment, and Deliverance, and to debut the transmission of the Mahasthamaprapta Bodhisattva Practice.
Golden Mother of the Jade Pond and the Pure Land Trinity Appear Together at Ling Shen Ching Tze Temple
Dharma Discourse by HH Living Buddha Liansheng
Just before chanting the Golden Mother of the Jade Pond Liberation Sutra, His Holiness chanted the names of the Pure Land Trinity because the Pure Land Trinity had arrived at Ling Shen Ching Tze Temple. Just now, His Holiness also sensed the presence of Golden Mother of the Jade Pond and her retinue. This is a very auspicious and extraordinary sign.
Next week, His Holiness will share with everyone the essence of all his spiritual cultivation. What cannot be fully explained at the ceremony will be written in detail in His Holiness's latest collection of writings. Much of this essence has actually been shared with everyone before. It is simply through this particular karmic affinity that everything is being brought together. Whether disciples believe the Dharma teachings spoken by His Holiness depends on their own karmic affinity.
Spiritual Cultivation Is Compassion, Equality, Forgiveness, and Purity
His Holiness emphasized that spiritual cultivation is about compassion, equality, forgiveness, and purity. These words correspond to what Shakyamuni Buddha taught: “Do no evil, practice all good, purify your own mind—this is the teaching of all Buddhas.”
The repentance practice is actually contained within these four qualities. By putting these four principles into practice, one can be reborn in a Buddha's Pure Land. When a practitioner has good roots and keeps Amitabha Buddha in their heart, they will naturally be reborn in the Buddha's Pure Land. We have come to this Saha World because of karmic obstacles. A practitioner needs to eliminate these karmic hindrances in order to be reborn in the Buddha's Pure Land.
Liberation Is Not Difficult; What Is Difficult Is Samadhi and Wisdom
Based on the Golden Mother of the Jade Pond Liberation Sutra, His Holiness explained: Liberation is not difficult; what is difficult is samadhi and wisdom.
When the body and thoughts can enter samadhi, they transform into wisdom. Once wisdom arises, liberation naturally becomes not difficult. To understand liberation, one must first eliminate the six sense faculties. This meaning coincides with the teachings of the Surangama Sutra.
After attaining an enlightened state, although one's life may still appear ordinary, one must be able to keep one's mind from becoming lax. In this way, one can remain focused and enter samadhi, thereby realizing that ultimately there is nothing to gain. Because one understands that there is nothing to gain, one can transform from the small self into the greater self, and from chaos into quiescence.
Facing Birth, Aging, Sickness, and Death: Shine Through Samadhi and Take Control of Life and Death
No matter who we are, we will ultimately experience birth, aging, sickness, and death. No one can escape them. As long as a practitioner can shine through samadhi, they can naturally attain mastery over birth and death. Otherwise, at the time of death, they may be received by Amitabha Buddha and be reborn in the Buddha's Pure Land.
In Esoteric Buddhism, there is a practice called dream cultivation. The states experienced in dreams are very similar to those of the intermediate state. If a practitioner can recite Buddha's name and chant mantras in a dream, and the Root Guru, personal deity, or Dharma protector appears, the practitioner can be reborn in the Buddha's Pure Land. Otherwise, one can only enter the cycle of rebirth in the Six Realms.
After attaining enlightenment, a practitioner must still have the power of samadhi. When one is able to observe and remain aware, and senses the presence of Buddhas and bodhisattvas, one will naturally follow them.
Pass Gently Through Life and Learn to Let Go of Attachments
Life is actually like this: After passing through this life, we cannot take anything with us. In the future, His Holiness will donate his house, and his car will also be given to others. What will remain at the end of life? Light. Once we understand this principle, there is nothing worth clinging to or worrying about.
We should simply walk gently through this journey of life and not become overly attached, because none of these things truly belong to us. Ultimately, we all have to learn to say goodbye. However, His Holiness's Dharma Body will remain in the Saha World to deliver and transform sentient beings. Through spiritual cultivation, practitioners can sense the Dharma Body and experience the presence of Buddhas and bodhisattvas.
Continue Practicing Even After Attainment
Even after attaining realization, His Holiness practices every day and performs deliverance dharmas every day. There has not been a single day when he has stopped.
Even when he goes out for a bit, he still returns home and carries out the work that is his responsibility.
Mahasthamaprapta Bodhisattva Ceremony: How to Attain Eternal Happiness
At the Mahasthamaprapta Bodhisattva Ceremony, His Holiness will tell everyone how to attain eternal happiness. The human world is a mixture of suffering and happiness; the heavenly realms have more happiness; and the World of Ultimate Bliss has no suffering.
In the World of Ultimate Bliss, practitioners will naturally want to cultivate because Dharma sounds permeate the entire Pure Land. There, everyone can practice and attain Buddhahood. The key is for practitioners to have good roots and to recite Buddha's name with single-minded concentration. If these two conditions are present at the time of death, Amitabha Buddha will naturally appear to receive and guide the practitioner.
