【True Buddha Foundation Announcement】A Dragon King Should Not be the Principal Deity of a Homa Ceremony
On May 28, 2019, a master with the True Buddha Foundation Reply Center asked Grandmaster whether a dragon king may be the principal deity of a homa ceremony.
Grandmaster provided the following guidance:
It is not proper for a dragon king to be the principal deity of a homa ceremony.
While performing mudras during regular ceremonies, masters may continue to invoke Dragon Kings. Please see the original ''Request for Instruction'' below.
As an additional reminder, neither earth gods nor Fortune Gods of the Five Directions may be principal deities of a ceremony.
Furthermore, Substitution Practice itself may not be a ceremony or a group practice.
Best Regards,
True Buddha Foundation
