Special Compassionate Dispensation for the Vajrasattva Purification and Blessing
(Special Dispensation for 2026 Only)

In accordance with the instructions of His Holiness Living Buddha Liansheng, the True Buddha Foundation is immediately preparing to launch the “Global Vajrasattva Purification and Blessing Prayer Initiative in Celebration of the Birthday of the Golden Mother of the Jade Pond.” As this initiative is being promoted at True Buddha School cultivation venues worldwide, many cultivation venues may not meet all the requirements under the True Buddha Foundation’s current regulations.

Therefore, the True Buddha Foundation has made a special request to the Root Lineage Guru. For the Birthday of the Golden Mother of the Jade Pond on the 18th day of the seventh lunar month this year, a special dispensation is granted regarding the requirements for cultivation venues around the world to conduct the Purification Ritual. (Special dispensation for 2026 only.)

1. If a cultivation venue has monastics, including resident Masters, Senior Reverends, or Reverends, but they have not yet completed 100,000 recitations of the Long Version of the Hundred Syllable Mantra, they may first complete 100,000 recitations of the Short Version of the Hundred Syllable Mantra (Om, bie-zha, sah-do, hum) before the Birthday of the Golden Mother of the Jade Pond, and then preside over the Purification Ritual.
   
   
2. If a cultivation venue does not have any monastics, special dispensation is granted for a lay Dharma propagation personnel of the cultivation venue, a resident Dharma instructor, Dharma assistant, or the venue principal, to first complete 100,000 recitations of the Short Version of the Hundred Syllable Mantra (Om, bie-zha, sah-do, hum) before the Birthday of the Golden Mother of the Jade Pond, and then preside over the Purification Ritual.
   
   
3. It is preferable for participating cultivation venues to conduct the Golden Mother of the Jade Pond Homa or Water Offering, the Golden Mother of the Jade Pond Feast Offering, or the Golden Mother of the Jade Pond Birthday Celebration Group Practice on the Birthday of the Golden Mother of the Jade Pond, followed by the Purification Ritual.
   
   
4. Cultivation venues registering for this initiative, as well as Dharma propagation personnel at all levels and venue principals who will preside over the Purification Ritual, are requested to register online: https://en.tbsn.org/praylist/index/15.html. The True Buddha Foundation will compile a master list of the participating cultivation venues and the Dharma propagation personnel leading and presiding over the Purification Rituals, and respectfully request the Root Lineage Guru’s blessings and pray for the initiative to be brought to complete fulfillment.
