His Holiness Dharma King Living Buddha Liansheng Confers the Title of Acharya upon Rev. Shi Lianyi (蓮屹)


On March 16, 2026, His Holiness Dharma King Living Buddha Liansheng personally bestowed the Acharya Empowerment upon Rev. Shi Lianyi of our school, officially appointing him as a Master of the True Buddha School.

This extraordinary occasion not only signifies the maturation of Master Lianyi’s personal cultivation and vows, but also marks an important moment in the continuation and propagation of the lineage, upheld and blessed by the Root Guru.
Master Lianyi took refuge in His Holiness Dharma King Living Buddha Liansheng at a young age, planting early the aspiration to ordain, cultivate, and dedicate himself to the Buddhadharma. Over the years, regardless of changes in his studies, career, or life circumstances, he has remained steadfast in practicing the True Buddha Tantric Dharma, maintaining deep and unwavering faith in the Root Guru.

Now, having received the Acharya Empowerment from His Holiness and being formally appointed as a Master of the True Buddha School, this marks a new stage in assuming greater Dharma responsibilities. His Holiness also encouraged Master Lianyi to realize the true nature of mind, attain mastery over birth and death, liberate himself and others, actively support the administrative operations of the True Buddha Foundation, propagate the Dharma for the benefit of beings, uphold and expand the Buddha-seed, and widely deliver sentient beings.

We firmly believe that in the future, Master Lianyi will uphold the teachings of the Root Lineage Guru, maintain the right view in the True Buddha Tantric Dharma, benefit countless beings, and ensure the flourishing and continuity of the True Buddha lineage.
