Notes Concerning Deliverance by Thousands of Dharma Vessels Practice

On July 16, 2024, HH Lineage Root Guru Living Buddha Lian-sheng provided the following guidance concerning cultivation of the Deliverance by Thousands of Dharma Vessels Practice:

1. True Buddha disciples who have attained spiritual union in personal deity practice may cultivate Deliverance by Thousands of Dharma Vessels Practice. Practitioners with sufficient time may cultivate the Deliverance by Thousands of Dharma Vessels Practice every day or once per week.
   
2. True Buddha practitioners who have not attained spiritual union with deities such as Golden Mother of the Jade Pond, Kṣitigarbha Bodhisattva, Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva, and Amitabha Buddha, can still perform the Thousands of Dharma Vessels Practice if they are able to single-mindedly and flawlessly cultivate according to the sadhana with purified body, speech, and mind, while applying extraordinarily keen powers of visualization. However, if errors are made during the practice, practitioners should recite the One Hundred Syllable Mantra three times to make up for any shortcomings.
   
3. True Buddha practitioners who wish to cultivate the Deliverance by Thousands of Dharma Vessels Practice should write a letter to the Lineage Root Guru seeking remote empowerment for the practice.
   
4. Receiving empowerment for the Deliverance by Thousands of Dharma Vessels Practice is not equivalent to receiving empowerment for the principal deity practices of Golden Mother of the Jade Pond, Tiger Head Vajra, Amitabha Buddha, Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva, Mahasthamaprapta Bodhisattva, Manjusri Bodhisattva, and other deities visualized in the Deliverance by Thousands of Dharma Vessels Practice.
