Dharma King HH Living Buddha Lian-sheng Conferred Acharya Empowerment on Reverend Shi Lianyin

On May 23, 2023, in the presence of the holy and venerable deities on the altar of the True Buddha Tantric Quarter, including the Five Dhyani Buddhas, buddhas, bodhisattvas, vajra protectors, dragon kings, dakinis, and dakas, HH Living Buddha Lian-sheng personally conferred Acharya empowerment on Reverend Shi Lianyin (蓮吟), the current Abbot of Ling Shen Ching Tze Temple (LSCTT) in Seattle, promoting him to the position of Master in the True Buddha School.

In accordance with the ripening of conditions at the present moment, Living Buddha Lian-sheng Sheng-yen Lu has bestowed Acharya empowerment on Reverend Lianyin. Per the Root Guru’s instructions, Reverend Shi Lianyin will undertake responsibility for the Buddha’s teaching, cultivating the bodhi mind, benefitting sentient beings extensively, liberating self from birth and death, fulfilling the mission of propagating the Dharma, and cooperating with True Buddha Foundation to actively support propagation of the True Buddha Tantric Dharma and guide more and more sentient beings to take refuge in the True Buddha.

To be a true Acharya master, one must always maintain the purity of one’s initial aspiration. One must wholeheartedly rely on the instructions of the Lineage Root Guru, seek the fruition of Buddhahood, benefit sentient beings, and always uphold the grace of the Buddha and the guru.

May Venerable Lianyin continue to elevate LSCTT, our founding temple, and propagate the True Buddha Tantric Dharma to bring salvation to countless sentient beings in the saha world.
