【True Buddha Foundation Personnel Discipline Announcement】
TBF-Per No. 0015
Following an investigation, it was determined that between 2005-2012, Wu Junpeng (吳駿鵬) illegally solicited funds from True Buddha School (TBS) disciples and other worshippers to trade futures. His actions seriously violated the local Banking Act, and he was sentenced to prison in 2016. Although this case has already been adjudicated, we are making the following personnel announcement to reinforce the position of the TBS regarding violation of local and national laws:
Chapter 23, clause 7, subparagraph 3, of the TBS Bylaws states: ”All levels of TBS Dharma propagating and Dharma affairs personnel are prohibited from violating the laws of the country they are in. Any person who creates problems by violating national law is solely responsible for their actions, and such actions have no connection with TBS whatsoever. Those who violate the law must bear the consequences of their actions and any resulting punishment. Any person who violates the law shall have their qualifications to spread the TBS Tantric Dharma revoked.” In accordance with TBS Bylaws, the Dharma Instructor status of Wu Junpeng is hereby revoked.
Also, in accordance with Chapter 24, clause 4, subparagraph 7, of the True Buddha School Bylaws: “Any level of TBS personnel who violate national laws or engage in immoral or corrupt activity which disturbs the local populace, must bear the consequences of their actions. Such persons must immediately resign from all TBS affiliated duties.” This section of the TBS Bylaws requires Wu Junpeng to resign all TBS responsibilities as the chairperson, chairman, or principal of a cultivation venue.
Wu Junpeng is no longer authorized to wear the robes and outfit of a TBS Dharma Instructor.
Best Regards,
True Buddha Foundation
