【True Buddha Foundation Personnel Notification】
Revocation of Reverend Status of Zheng Jingyi [鄭靖儀] (Shi Liandi [釋蓮堤])

Following investigation, it was determined that Shi Liandi (Zheng Jingyi) failed to properly restrain her words and behavior, violated precepts of the sangha, and was unwilling to conform to the normal lifestyle and work regulations of the sangha. Numerous attempts at guidance were ineffective. Therefore, per the “Reverend Regulations” in the True Buddha School (TBS) By-laws, the True Buddha Foundation resolved to expel Shi Liandi from the TBS sangha. This personnel action is publicly announced as follows:
  1. On Aug. 21, 2020, Zheng Jingyi (Shi Liandi) was expelled from the TBS sangha, and her status as a member of the TBS sangha was revoked.
  2. The ordination certificate of Zheng Jingyi (Shi Liandi) is hereby revoked. To avoid confusion concerning her status, Zheng Jingyi is asked to not wear TBS reverend lama robes.
