【True Buddha Foundation Announcement】The following 16 reverends are no longer associated with the True Buddha School (TBS):
Lianjing (蓮竟), Lianyang (蓮揚), Lianyi (蓮易), Liancong (蓮從), Lianjiang (蓮蔣), Lianchun (蓮純), Lianying (蓮穎), Lianwa (蓮媧), Lianfan (蓮凡), Liandan (蓮丹), Lianquan (蓮詮), Lianzhen (蓮珍), Lianqiao (蓮僑), Liancheng (蓮橙), Lianjing (蓮井), and Lianshen (蓮蔘).


On Jan. 7, 2017, the True Buddha Foundation (TBF) mailed letters of inquiry to the following 16 reverends: Lianjing (蓮竟), Lianyang (蓮揚), Lianyi (蓮易), Liancong (蓮從), Lianjiang (蓮蔣), Lianchun (蓮純), Lianying (蓮穎), Lianwa (蓮媧), Lianfan (蓮凡), Liandan (蓮丹), Lianquan (蓮詮), Lianzhen (蓮珍), Lianqiao (蓮僑), Liancheng (蓮橙), Lianjing (蓮井), and Lianshen (蓮蔘). The letters of inquiry asked each reverend whether they were willing to leave former TBS master Lihui of the Purple Lotus Society and forever follow Root Guru Living Buddha Lian-sheng. In the letter, the respective reverends were given a deadline of Jan. 31, 2017 to respond to the inquiry and were cautioned that failure to respond by the given deadline would result in TBF terminating their position in TBS.

As TBF never received responses from the above-mentioned reverends, TBF now announces that they are no longer associated with TBS.
