On Aug. 27, 2014, 11:00 am, at the True Buddha Quarter, Supreme Dharma King Living Buddha Sheng-yen Lu bestowed Acharya empowerment on Reverend Lotus Xubai of Hai Tian Temple (Vietnam), Reverend Lianya of Fa Ming Society (Taiwan), Sr. Reverend Lotus Bizhen of Ling Shen Ching Tze Temple (America), Reverend Lianwan of Rainbow Temple (America), Reverend Lianyan of Rainbow Temple (America), and Reverend Lianxian of PTT Buddhist Society (Canada). Following the Acarya empowerment all became Vajra Masters of the True Buddha School.

Root Lineage Guru Living Buddha Lian-sheng invoked Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, and Dakinis with a vajra bell and a dharma drum, then bestowed the empowerments of Vajra Scepter, Vajra Bell, Vajra Bottle, Vajra Relic, and Five-Buddha Crown to all six Acaryas. Following the dignified and solemn empowerment ritual Living Buddha Lian-sheng encouraged the new Vajra Masters to diligently study the dharma and continually practice so that they can become true vajra masters capable of spreading the Buddhist dharma and saving sentient beings.

Living Buddha Lian-sheng awarded each newly appointed master a ''Master Certificate'' symbolizing that each newly promoted master must personally shoulder the important mission of promulgating the Buddhist teachings and benefiting sentient beings. It also symbolizes that they must bear the honorable lineage of the True Buddha School above their crown and face the bodhi path of saving all sentient beings.
