November 27, 2014 was an American ''Thanksgiving'' holiday. It is not only a warm day for families to reunite, but also a day for stores to start a hot shopping season.

Everyone was excited to attend the potluck dinner held at the Seattle Ling Shen Ching Tze Temple. Masters, reverends, and disciples joyfully spent the Thanksgiving night together.

''The Great Seattle Temple Restaurant'' began to get lively around sunset. Delicious dishes prepared by the temple and participants took up an entire long table and made everyone drool. Finally it was dinner time. Masters, reverends, and disciples streamed in continually and greeted each other. A special treat this year was that Shimu Master Lian Xiang also attended the dinner. Everyone cheered for her presence before starting to enjoy the meal.

A gift raffle began after dinner. Seventy gifts sponsored by True Buddha Quarter were prepared by Shimu. All of a sudden, the room bustled with a hubbub of voices and the atmosphere turned more active. People joyfully conversed, joked, or exchanged questions regarding the prizes drawn. Everyone greatly appreciated Grandmaster and Shimu who provided the gifts! In this way, everyone had a happy Thanksgiving holiday.
