May 7, 2017 Disciples At Sea-Tac Airport Welcome Living Buddha Lian-sheng and Shimu Master Lianxiang Return from Taiwan

On May 7, 2017, a day when abundant flowers were blooming in the pleasant spring breeze, Living Buddha Lian-sheng Sheng-yen Lu and Shimu Master Lianxiang finally returned to Seattle from Taiwan. For US and Canadian disciples it has been a long wait. Living Buddha Lian-sheng has more than five million disciples and will begin a new series of activities to spread the Buddhadharma.

When the arrival of Living Buddha Lian-sheng's flight was announced on the board, the airport waiting area immediately erupted with joy and excitement. All present were in a jubilant mood, focusing their eyes on the exit elevator for the greatly missed face of the buddha. Living Buddha Lian-sheng once said, ''The buddha in my heart is not a remote and solitary star. The buddha in my heart is thinking about sentient beings and embracing sentient beings.'' Regardless how time comes and goes, there will be an echo after years of constant thinking!

Everyone cheered at the the moment Living Buddha Lian-sheng Sheng-yen Lu and Shimu Master Lianxiang emerged from the exit elevator. Disciples expressed how much they missed Grandmaster and longed for his return with a welcome banner and dragon dance. A mixture of smiles and yearning tears showed not only the profound connection between the buddha and disciples, but also the expectation for the continued nurturing of dharma milk of wisdom.

Living Buddha Lian-sheng Sheng-yen Lu has been spreading the Buddhadharma for more than 30 years. He states ''My mission in life is to help sentient beings attain the wisdom to achieve buddhahood!''
