True Buddha School Masters in Indonesia will Jointly Hold a Grand Pandemic and Calamity Eradication, Blessing, and Deliverance Green Tara Homa Ceremony
The Ceremony will be held on August 29 at 4:00 PM, Indonesia time.
This ceremony is in response to Grandmaster’s July 14 instruction at the True Buddha Foundation (TBF) to hold ceremonies with Green Tara as the principal deity, and dedicate the merit of ceremonies and prayers to the eradication of worldwide calamities.
At the end of June 2021, a sudden, exponential surge in daily COVID-19 cases resulted in Indonesia becoming one of the countries hardest hit by the pandemic. In response to this crisis, TBF, jointly with Indonesia’s entire team of eight Vajra Masters, all levels of Dharma propagation personnel, representatives of various cultivation venues, and the Lotus Light Charity Society, will hold a grand Pandemic and Calamity Eradication, Blessing, and Deliverance Green Tara Homa Ceremony on August 29 at 4:00 PM (Indonesia time). The Green Tara ceremony will be held simultaneously across eight cultivation venues in Indonesia and webcast live via ZOOM and the TBSN TV YouTube Channel.
The merit of the grand fire offering ceremony will be dedicated to Lineage Root Guru HH Living Buddha Lian-sheng with a sincere supplication for the Guru Buddha to stay in the world, live for many years to come, continue to turn the Dharma wheel, be unhindered, and have a long and healthy life full of auspiciousness.
We pray that Lineage Root Guru Living Buddha Lian-sheng, Great Compassionate Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva, and Green Tara along with the 21 Taras will radiate bright light to bless everyone, grant peace and prosperity to the people of Indonesia, eradicate the COVID-19 pandemic, and protect everyone from natural and manmade disasters.

Funds raised at the ceremony will be used for caregiving to cultivation venues of indigenous communities in Indonesia, and to support the care and wellbeing of the Sangha.
