2021 True Buddha School Praying for the World

Towards 2021
Calling True Buddha School disciples from the five continents of the world to wholeheartedly recite the Heart Mantra of Maha Padmakumara
As our mantra recitations resound throughout the world, let us pray for Grandmaster’s blessings on sentient beings.

【Foreword】
In 2020, the world was tormented by the pernicious COVID-19, and plagued by natural and man-made disasters and conflicts. Consequently, people from all walks of life have plunged into a state of helpless despair. Fortunately, hope springs out of adversity. As a result of Grandmaster’s homa ceremonies held every Sunday at Rainbow Temple in Seattle, U.S.A., and the response of disciples worldwide to an appeal to recite the mantra of Tara Who Saves from Contagious Diseases, merit has been dedicated for the swift ending of the pandemic.

Even though 2020 is drawing to a close and the new year is fast approaching, the COVID-19 pandemic continues to rage with no end in sight. Therefore, we sincerely pray that all natural and man-made disasters will cease, and that brightness and vitality will once again be restored to this world.

On this occasion, as we approach 2021, on behalf of all people living in this world, the True Buddha Foundation (TBF) has wholeheartedly beseeched Grandmaster to discourse the Dharma. Also, TBF is appealing to True Buddha School (TBS) disciples across all five continents of the world to jointly recite the heart mantra of Maha Padmakumara, and pray to Grandmaster to dedicate the merit to the good fortune and blessing for the new year of 2021.

At 8:00 PM, on January 1, 2021 (Seattle Time), True Buddha School (TBS) Root Guru Dharma King Living Buddha Lian-sheng will personally turn the Dharma wheel of 2021 Praying for the World and formally launch the worldwide mantra recitation event！

1. TBS disciples worldwide will take part in a 24-hour mantra recitation relay.
   The mantra recitation relay will begin at 8:00 PM on January 1, 2021 (Friday) and end at 8:00 PM on Saturday, January 2, 2021 (Seattle time).
   (Corresponding times in Taiwan, Singapore and Malaysia are as follows:
   Begin: 12:00 noon, January 2, 2021, End: 12:00 noon, January 3, 2021)
   Worldwide Masters, reverends, and cultivation venues will follow scheduled times in accordance with their corresponding time zone.
   
   
2. Respecfully invite Grandmaster to perform overall merit dedication
   
   1. At 8:00 PM, on January 2 (Seattle time), Grandmaster will perform overall merit dedication at Seattle Ling Shen Ching Tze Temple, with Maha Padmakumara as the principal deity.
      
   2. At 3:00 PM, on January 3, at Rainbow Temple, Grandmaster will preside over a Maha Padmakumara Homa Ceremony and dedicate the merit on behalf of the 2021 Praying for the World event.
   
   
3. May the world be illuminated with the lights of the heart.
   We will light a lamp on the TBSN website for every participant in the 2021 Praying for the World mantra recitation event who completes 10,000 Guru Mantra recitations. We will also respectfully invite Grandmaster to bless the participant.

We pray that all participants be blessed by HH Living Buddha Lian-sheng so that their sincere mantra recitations will resound throughout the world, bring an end to all natural and man-made disasters, and restore bright vitality to this world.
