A Special 88 Father’s Day Gift

A Special Gift for Father’s Day on Aug. 8, 2020

The response of disciples to the recently launched “One Mantra for Life” Guru Mantra recitation event has been enormous. Many disciples have inquired whether prior recitations of the Guru Mantra can be included in the One Mantra for Life event.

Due to the widespread enthusiasm for this event, the True Buddha Foundation (TBF) has made the following arrangements. On August 8, 2020, TBF will present to Grandmaster the total Guru Mantra count registered to date as a special Father’s Day gift. On August 9, 2020, TBF will register as primary supplicants all tbsn members who registered their mantra count. Grandmaster will burn the name list of primary supplicants in the homa furnace as an offering.

We welcome all participants to create a member account at the tbsn website and submit your recitation count at the link below prior to 8:00 PM Seattle time on August 7 (11:00AM, August 6, Taiwan/Malaysia time): https://ch.tbsn.org/praylist/index/3.html



TBS disciples who establish a membership account at the tbsn website can maintain a record of their cultivation and keep track of their cultivation homework. Through this online record system, relevant personal details of disciples can be automatically generated and presented to Grandmaster at any time or for his blessing at a Dharma ceremony. Therefore, we strongly encourage each and every disciple to establish a membership account. When establishing an account, please be careful to provide accurate information.

Disciple mantra counts that have been submitted for blessing will be automatically recorded. Mantra counts registered after the August 7 deadline will be added to the next cycle of 100,000 mantra recitations and automatically processed for the next printout. On the first weekend of each month, TBF will provide a printout of disciple mantra counts to Grandmaster for his blessing.

We are kindly asking everyone to enter the mantra count actually recited, not a future goal count per vows, or a mantra count multiplied by techniques such as Thousand Wheel Turning Practice or recitation on an auspicious day such as a buddha’s birthday. Let’s make our mantra recitation and the time spent worthwhile and real as the greatest offering to our Root Lineage Guru!
