Praying for the Guru Buddha to Stay in the World on May 11, 2025

On Sunday, May 11, 2025, the True Buddha Foundation, Ling Shen Ching Tze Temple, and Rainbow Temple will conduct the "Praying for the Guru Buddha to Stay in the World" Ritual during the Noble Guanyin Homa Ceremony.

The ceremony is dedicated to praying for the Lineage Root Guru, Living Buddha Lian-sheng, to have a healthy and sound body, be free from illness and suffering, enjoy long life and non-hindrance, long stay in this world, continue turning the Dharma wheel, and bring infinite benefit to all sentient beings.

The "Praying for the Guru Buddha to Stay in the World" is the most profound and supreme act of offering to the Triple Jewels. It is the disciples' sincere and compassionate vow to pray with their lives for the Dharma lineage to endure and for all beings to remain on the right path.

As stated in the sutras: “Offering to the Buddha for one day surpasses a thousand years of giving.”
For buddha to stay in the world not only signifies the abiding presence of the buddha but also represents the continued turning of the

Dharma wheel and the liberation of sentient beings. This is the supreme act of merit.
