Recently, Grandmaster told about a compassionate practitioner who was suffering from eczema. The practitioner made this heartfelt vow: “May I bear the sufferings of all sentient beings by transforming their pain into sores upon my body.” Today, our beloved Grandmaster is personally bearing the sickness and suffering of sentient beings. Though plagued by eczema for over a month, Grandmaster continues every day to save, bless, and transform with unwavering dedication, without complaint or regret.

In this era of frequent disasters and increasing suffering, Grandmaster acts quietly and unconditionally, never speaking of his own merits. His only wish is that all beings may be free from suffering and find happiness.

As disciples, we can’t help but reflect deeply. To save sentient beings and relieve their untold suffering, Grandmaster constantly blesses sentient beings and fulfills their wishes. Miracles appear as countless as the stars in the sky. Had Grandmaster not mentioned it, we would have never known that he has been silently enduring unbearable pain from a skin condition, while still holding sentient beings in his heart and blessing them without pause.

Grandmaster is a great adept who has attained mastery over life and death. Yet, out of boundless compassion, he chooses to endure suffering in the human world rather than see any of his five million disciples hopeless and in despair. As disciples who have witnessed Grandmaster’s tireless sacrifices firsthand, we are deeply moved and humbled. Not only are we touched by his manifest compassion, but we also understand how painstakingly he fulfills his deep vows and aspirations. How fortunate we are to always be protected and blessed by Grandmaster!

Grandmaster is a living buddha, an incredibly rare presence in this world. To have encountered such a masterful teacher of Buddhadharma in this lifetime is a supreme blessing. As disciples, we must cherish this Dharma opportunity, honor the Guru, respect the Dharma, and cultivate diligently, repaying the Guru’s kindness through genuine practice and dedicating the merit to all beings. Then, having encountered the True Dharma and a perfectly compassionate teacher in this lifetime, we will not have lived in vain.

May all five million disciples unite in heartfelt prayer for Grandmaster’s continued presence in this world. May we vow to protect the precious lineage, and always safeguard the authentic Dharma of Grandmaster so that his teachings will remain in the world forever and the Dharma wheel never cease to turn.

The Guru manifests illness to shoulder the karma of all beings. May we dedicate our merit for the Guru’s peace and wellbeing!
