Worldwide Cultivation Venues Join Together to Celebrate Guru Buddha’s Holy Birthday with Feast Offerings

To supplicate Guru Buddha to stay in the world, True Buddha School (TBS) cultivation venues worldwide will join together to hold five Feast Offerings to Golden Mother.

To widely save sentient beings, Great White Padmakumara descended to the saha world and incarnated as HH Living Buddha Lian-sheng. He demonstrated an ordinary person’s journey to realization of Buddha-nature, attainment of enlightenment, and accomplishment of Buddhahood in this very life. Over the course of 80 years, he has sounded the great Dharma drum and awakened sentient beings by authoring more than 300 literary works and giving countless teachings. In this Dharma-ending era, he has benefited humans and deities by rekindling the teachings of the Buddha!

Out of deep appreciation for the kindness and sacrifice of the Guru Buddha, TBS disciples bring forth bodhicitta by supplicating the Guru Buddha to stay in the world in this Dharma-ending age and turn the Dharma wheel for the benefit of sentient beings. As the Guru Buddha's 80th birthday approaches, TBS cultivation venues are joining together to organize five Feast Offerings to Golden Mother in celebration of the Guru Buddha's birthday and to supplicate Guru Buddha to remain in the world!

The purpose of a Vajrayana Feast Offering is to gather all the offerings together and conduct a vast and immeasurable ritual feast. The Feast Offering is an offering to the patriarchs of the dharma transmission, deities, dakinis, Dharma protectors, wealth gods, spirit and mountain gods, land deities, parents of the six realms, karmic creditors, and all other obstructive beings. Extensive invocations and cloud-like offerings along with prayers for all sentient beings in the dharma realm will eliminate transgressions and obstacles, perfect blessings and wisdom, and lead to attainment of supreme enlightenment. We earnestly pray for their blessings.

During the Feast Offering, participants purify themselves by repenting for transgressions and dedicate the merit of purification of body, speech, and mind. The collective dedication of merit by all participants transforms into a force which removes obstacles to longevity. Participants pray that the Guru Buddha will have longevity and everlasting life.

Therefore, the True Buddha Foundation is calling on all TBS cultivation venues to actively participate in this feast offerings!

2nd session: Taiwan time Sat., Jun. 8, @2 pm, led by Chung Quan Temple
3rd session: Taiwan time Sat., Jun. 8, @5 pm (Indonesia time 4pm), led by Indonesia Temple
4th session: Taiwan time Sat., Jun. 8, @8 pm, led by Malaysia Falun Temple
5th session: Seattle time Sat., Jun 8, @10am (Taiwan time Sun., Jun. 9, @1am), led by Ling Shen Ching Tze Temple

Worldwide cultivation venue feast offerings will be joined via Zoom and live webcast via TBSNTV YouTube Channel and True Buddha School Online Education and Group Practice YouTube Channel. Everyone is welcome to participate online.
